Chapter 15: eviction

3rd POV:

"hey, what's wrong?" Izuku asked softly,Katsuki swallowed thickly followed by a sigh,

"It's an eviction notice."

Izuku was stunned, his face full of concern, "W-What!? Why! What does it say!?" He questioned, Katsuki handed the paper to Izuku, Izuku then read it over.

"Dear Mr. Bakugou, as your landlord I regret to inform you that you will need to vacate the premises by November 30th. You have failed to make payments on time and it's become a habit we can no longer accept. If you are not out By November 30th we will have you forcibly removed from the premises along with any belongings you may have. We wish you and your family a happy holidays."

Katsuki didn't want to believe it, he couldn't! He's saving up to be able to afford Christmas this year but now he has the burden of finding a whole new place to live now.

Katsuki felt Sophie shift in his arms, he looked at the toddler, his face expressionless, "I gotta go put Sophie to bed. G'night Deku." He said, his voice sounded rash, like he was trying not to cry.

Izuku didn't know what to do, he had just found out his friend was getting evicted. He couldn't do anything to help him, he really wanted to, but he just couldn't.

"...Bakugou...." Izuku whispered, he wanted to comfort the male. Katsuki opened his door turning back slightly, "Thanks for the fun day, I bet Sophie will never forget it. And thanks for the Lion..." katsuki then gave him a weak smile. The next thing Izuku knew, he was standing with a door closed in his face, he was angry, angry that someone could just kick someone out of their home because of late payments! It was ridiculous!
And so close to Christmas as well. Izuku needed to do something, he had to, Bakugou was his friend and he deserved more. But he had to think of something and fast.

"I'm home!" Izuku called out, Todoroki was in the kitchen making dinner, he turned to his left to see a mopey Izuku, "Hi Midoriya, how was your evening?" Todoroki asked hoping to get some information, Izuku took off his jacket hanging it up, "It was really nice, how about you?" Izuku replied trying to be chill taking off his shoes, he then walked over to the Island sitting down.

"Mine was quite good as well, but are you sure your alright? You look like somethings bothering you?" Todoroki asked. He could always tell when Izuku had something on his mind, he would deflect his feelings and talk about someone else.
Of course he would keep it up until finally he couldn't keep it to himself anymore.

"I'm sure, just a very eventful day. I saved this old man from dying at that zoo." Todoroki chuckled, "why am I not surprised, you always get involved in the weirdest things." Izuku smiled softly, "so what's for dinner?" Todoroki moved aside to show his ingredients, "Some nice, hot, Soba. it's been pretty chillie the last few weeks so I thought this would warm us up." Todoroki said, Izuku licked his lips self consciously, "sounds good! I'm starving!" Izuku stated, "not eat lunch today?" Todoroki inquired, Izuku nodded his head, they were having way to much fun to stop and eat, so they practically ignored there rumbling stomachs.

"How's Momo?" Izuku asked, Todoroki froze, Izuku could tell by his body language that something was up, by his experience from the dating world it could either be one of three things, one being they got in a fight over something stupid, two, Momo brought up the topic of marriage, and three, They broke up.
