Chapter 19: The new normal

3rd POV:

So it's been a chaotic morning for the Midoriya/Bakugou, household.

It was currently 7:23am, Izuku slept in being late for his class while Katsuki was waiting for a stupid blonde to show up so he could leave his kid and get to work.

Izuku finished gathering his things and placing them in his satchel, he grabbed a thin camo green jacket putting it on then hanging his satchel across his shoulder. Izuku walked out of his room to see the blonde pacing in a circle back and forth typing very aggressively on his phone, he stopped and frowned, "Bakugou, if you want I could give you a ride to work?" Izuku offered, Katsuki looked at the shorter with anger written on his face, his crimson red eyes were narrowed while his lips were held in a scowl, "Thanks, but The fucking idiot isn't here yet so I can't leave without someone to watch Sophie!" Katsuki said annoyed.

Izuku looked to the door as if on cue (or the author just needs this for the plot ;) ) a knock was heard. Katsuki quickly rushed passed the greenette opening the door to reveal a sweaty blonde panting at the front door, "The hell took you so long!?" Katsuki yelled dragging the shorter male inside, "sorry man" Kaminari panted kicking off his shoes, "kirishima couldn't give me a ride, he was hanging at Mina last night and never came home. I had to ride my bike!" The shorter blonde explained, katsuki sighed irked, "Fucking-hell. Okay well Sophie's asleep in my room still, I already unpacked some of her stuff so try and keep it tidy in there." Katsuki instructed as he walked to the door, "You got it!" Kaminari gave him a thumbs up, "you still want that ride?" Izuku asked with a small smile on his face, "well it'd be rude to not take you up on that offer, so yeah." Katsuki said, relief washing over him.

Katsukis work was was not on Izuku's way, but katsuki was was later then he was so he didn't mind being a few more minutes late to class.

"Aren't you and dunce face in the same corse?" Katsuki asked starting small talk, Izuku nodded hesitantly,
"Yeah...but he kind of-" Izuku stoped himself pulling up to a red light, he glanced at the blonde beside him, "can you keep a secret?" Izuku asked, the blonde raised an eyebrow at the green haired boy intrigued, "yeah... sure." Katsuki replied, the car started to go once again, "He's just embarrassed about it and doesn't want anyone to know, so in honour of the bro code, I must respect his wishes... and dignity." Izuku said, he took a breath before speaking again, "he kinda maybe sorta got expelled for public nudity." Izuku said slowly, it felt like a weight was lifted off his chest. He glance over to the blonde who was oddly quiet, "Bakugou..?" He asked looking beside him, Katsuki was laughing, he was laughing so hard, so hard and so loud that it was ranging at a dogs frequency, "that-..haha. That fucking Idiot!" He laughed with a wide smile plastered over his face as his eyes shut tightly.

Izuku pulled up to another red  light, he shifted his body to look at the laughing blond, "you can't tell him I told you! He'd kill me! He was drunk, it wasn't his fault!" Izuku said now regretting telling the blonde who literally made fun of his friends as a side gig. after a second katsuki finally regained his composure and looked at Izuku, "Calm your tits, I won't tell." Katsuki said while a small smile resided. Izuku sighed in relief, but as soon as he looked at the blonde again he noticed how he's never really seen him laugh before. He found himself staring at his face, "you have a nice smile." He mumbled, the blond then stop smiling confused at the other's words, "huh?" He asked looking at him confused, Izuku was brought out of his trance realizing what he said and how it was really random and weird guy to say something like that to another guy. "Ah- um I-I mean! I've just never seen you laugh so much, y-you have a nice smile!" Izuku ranted trying to clear up what he meant, "uh.." katsuki looked at Izuku as he ranted, "y-y'know what just forget I said anything, sorry." Izuku muttered embarrassed, katsuki hasn't really been complemented like that before, he was just surprised to hear it from Izuku. "No, don't be sorry, Um.. thank you? You also have a nice smile." Katsuki complemented back awkwardly, Izuku smiled awkwardly at the blonde, appreciating his reassurance.
