Chapter 22: First snow

3rd POV:

"What..." Katsuki said, his voice low, full of emotion, emotions he didn't let others see, especially his boss who is currently letting him go, "I'm Sorry Bakugou, we're over staffed and as the assistant manager I was instructed to make the hard decision of letting people go." His boss said, he kept a straight face trying to be as professional as possible.

Katsukis third job, he was a warehouse worker who organized different products and where they get distributed. But as Katsuki likes to call it, the job that actually pays him. The warehouse manager had pulled katsuki into his office to "chat" and now katsuki is totally regretting following him.

"You can't be fucking serious." Katsuki said still trying to process his bosses words, "I'm Sorry Bakugou, but with the holidays right around the corner we had to make some adjustments so we could give our employees their Christmas bonus." His boss explained, he was getting quite fidgety by the blondes fiery gaze not once leaving him.

"You can't just fire me because you want to pay other more!" Katsuki shouted, His eyebrows furrowed while he clutched his fists, taking all his might to not punch the motherfucker standing before him. His boss sighed raising his hand to massage his temples, "Trust me when I say this, Bakugou, but I actually advocated for you. Your a hard worker and you deserve more then what your given-" his boss started, "I pulled a few strings and I was able you get you in on the Christmas bonus, you just have to keep it to yourself." His boss stated,

"Thanks, I really fucking appreciate it!" Katsuki said sarcastically, "it's not like I haven't been working here for two years, never calling in sick, hell I even cover shifts for the ass-hats who barely show up half the time!" Katsuki yelled taking off his work apron and his leather gloves throwing them at the ground. "Bakugou, your still young. You shouldn't be working in some dump like this in the first place. So please-" his boss tried to calm him down but it was to late, Katsuki had walked passed him angrily, purposely bumping his shoulder, "Fuck you! And fuck this company!" Katsuki shouted storming out.

December 19th, Christmas was approaching very fast and now that Katsuki was out of a job, he was officially fucked.
Katsuki was 18 when he first applied and got this job, it was his first real job where he didn't need to ask what someone wanted to eat.

His other two jobs did fine paying the rent, but this job was what got everything else he needed. Katsuki took the bus home contemplating everything that he had done wrong in order for him to be let go, he was always on time, he made sure everything was organized correctly, and he even made sure his coworkers were doing what need to be done as well. To sum it up, Katsuki was a perfectionist.

Once Katsuki made it home he opened the front door to the apartment, he took off his jacket hanging it up and kicked off his shoes not really caring where they flew off to.

Izuku, was at the coffee shop by his campus hanging out with his friends that he hadn't seen for quite some time. That left Katsuki alone at the house due to his daughter being with Kirishima.

Kirishima had taken Sophie to a dance recital to watch Kirishima's younger sister perform. Katsuki didn't see the harm in letting her go so he didn't hesitate when his friend asked him.

Katsuki had a shower and changed into a black long sleeved shirt and some gray plaid Pyjama pants. It was supposed to snow soon so he had to dress warmer not wanting to catch a cold. It was rare katsuki was home alone, he didn't hate it, but he got a little lonely. The restaurant "meilleur jeaniste" katsuki was working at was closed for the brake. The manager wanted everyone to have a nice winter break so he gave everyone a bonus and sent them on home. That was the nice part about the brake, winter bonuses, but after this month katsuki would have to start paying rent, Todoroki only paid for an extra month after he left so Izuku could use that time to find a roommate, which he did so there was no need for Todoroki to pay rent anymore.
