-Tito's POV-
Hiroshi Tito
38 Years Old
Electrician
1st day of Sojourn
I quickly glanced at the phone while wondering what the hell was going on.
Difficulty: 9 of ♧
Game: Escape Room
"The... Nine of Clubs?" The old man said. "This would be total hell." The man with the cap added.
There are a total of 8 players playing this game. I looked to my left, one of them was a boy not more than the age of nine. Another is an old man who watches over the child. It was clear that he's the eldest among the group knowing he walks with a stick in his hand. The other was a pregnant woman.
I immediately looked to my right. There were four players; two of the players were men, from the looks of it, one of them was as or above the age of mine. The other is a middle-aged man with a cap on his head. The two other players were women; it looks like that they were both older than me.
Rules:
- Escape the room within 50 minutes
- Secure the keys to unlock the exit
- Avoid the acid rain at all costs
"Hey, what the hell are we doing here?" I said to the old man, he replied with, "It's... a game..."
The front door of the facility opened as we entered the room the announcer told us. The door immediately closed right after we got inside the game.
There was a miniature-city inside the gigantic room, there were no windows but there were artificial lights that beams through what seems like the sky at the ceiling. The buildings were house-like huge, it can hold enough an entire group of people if entered. The city streets were buzzing with noise, noise coming from an ordinary city street. And even though the details were miniscule, I still see the effort they made by creating the sewer holes and manholes.
It was off-setting, at least. Well the vibes of the entire game arena feels child-like. If this world in fact kills people, I would not be surprised. We took a step forward as the announcer announced,
Game, Commence
Time Remaining: 50 Minutes
Exit Keys: 0/5
Right beside the main street is the miniature-fire station. There are 5 miniature buildings inside the room. One of them is the fire station. We tried to enter but it was locked.
All of the players gathered in front of it. It slowly beeped and then the door opened.
Tokyo, Shinjuku Ward
After the 4 of ♤
11:34 PM
We walked and talked for what seemed like hours. We already found another game arena while walking on the streets.
It was already 30 minutes before midnight. I wanted to talk to him about one more thing. The first game I played.
"The Nine of Clubs?" Hiroko said, I replied, "Yeah kiddo, at that time I wasn't so sure if deaths really occur in these games. I just heard it while asking people on the streets."
