[06] The Vicious Village (1)

A cold breeze blew between the three; Hiroko, Kara, and Tito stood in front of a mall that was called to be the village.

The village was said to be the home of answers, answers on how to remove the visa system, perhaps.

Hiroko hid his phone in his pocket, noticing the grandness of the village. "I guess this night wouldn't be worse than the game we had earlier." He added.

They all looked at each other for a moment and then slowly stepped closer. There were hundreds of people, each of them doing what seemed like their own unique tasks. The village was somehow capable of its own resources, but the three were curious to look behind the distance; it was a mall.

"Why create a village in a parking space, when you can literally be in a mall?" Tito asked.

They haven't given it a second thought as three armed-man quickly surrounded and threatened them to be seized.

"Get down! Get down!"

"What the fuck?" Hiroko said.

Everyone halted from their work and was also threatened by the three newcomers. The three were held captive for a moment, but in the end were drugged down to sleep.

"W-Wait!" Kara screamed.

The three tried to fight, especially Tito who was protecting the two. In the end however it was of no avail, for they fell asleep then and then.

"They shouldn't have come without a recruit's permission."

"That's right, if they were Malwares then we're dead by our leader." The other guard said.

A few hours later.

Two of the three were still cold asleep. It was Kara who was woken up by the noise. They were all tied up by the guards and were all taken to an unknown location.

"T-Tito, H-Hiroko, wake up!" She said.

"Wh-why the fuck would you tie us up?" Kara said.

"Of course, we never want any Malwares to escape during interrogation wouldn't we."

"Malwares?" Hiroko and Tito soon followed to stand upright from their seats.

"Oh why you three could be perfect recruits." Another stranger approached. There were three people who joined him. Kara recognized one of them as Itzuno.

"Uh, what the fuck happened." Hiroko said. "Kara, Hiroko, are you alright?" Tito halted.

"Hmph, I know this girl. So, where's your friend." Itzuno said.

Kara was threatened beforehand, she wasn't ready for the question as she thought. "How could I lose someone in only a matter of days. Even this guy still remembers me."

Kara did not make eye contact. "I guess I was right, huh?" Itzuno said.

"Well, well, I guess we have already made contact with the possible recruits. Let me introduce myself first before you share your thoughts, Itzuno." The leader said.

"I am Kaneko, Kaneko Teishou. The village elder at your service."
