Auston felt sick. He couldn't even see straight. All he could think about was Nora. Fuck the rest of it. The only problem was that six days had passed since she stormed out of his apartment, and she was yet to answer her phone.

He posted no statements, nor did he comment publicly elsewhere. When he was asked about it in a post-game interview on the road, he just walked out of the locker room. People were heartless, and he couldn't stand listening to a word against Nora, especially when none of it was true.

Upon his return from their brief roadtrip out west, Auston tried calling Nora again. Still nothing. She hadn't posted anything on social media, and neither had Trick and Lex. It was beginning to seem like Auston might never hear from her again. The thought nearly broke his heart. He tried a text, figuring that, at the very least, Nora would then hear what he had to say, even if she wouldn't answer his calls.
