Aftermath

  After chaining the changeling to the tree the team apologized for the mix up.

"So sorry for not helping." Grebito siad hugging Van.

"I know that a changeling's disguise is indistinguishable from the real thing but I should've known from how he acted." Helistin said, trying to help clean the air of tension between them.

Then something not even Helistin expected, Van hugged Helistin.

"I'm also sorry for not believing in your magical ability I've learnt now."

Van was crying while rambling apologies.

Helistin didn't know what to do so just returned the hug.

After a while of apologizing (Flam just stared into the changelings eyes) the team regrouped to solve the big problem they had gotten themselves in. The question of what to do with the changeling who has been shrieking in an incoherent language for a while.

"The real question is why is there one here anyway? They are usually only around populated areas." Helistin questioned.

"They could have been disguised as a druid back in the forest." Calmo suggested.

"But that doesn't explain how it got out of the forest so fast compared to us, '' Helistin said.

"Maybe he was teleported with the cart." Grebito suggested.

"No, Yton would have seen him." Helistin said.

"Ah yes' cause Yton, the most cryptic guy I've met is trustworthy." Flam mocked.

After a while the team couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation so instead they started to pack up to continue forward before Van spoke up. "Uhhh what about the changeling?". The team looked back unsure as to what to do before Calmo spoke up.

"Well he is too dangerous to just let go so I think we should take him with us." Calmo said.

"What that is an extremely stupid idea. What if he escapes, What if he steals our supplies or destroys them, plus we can't be able to feed him, I don't even know how long we can sustain five of us nonetheless six." Van said shocked at Calmo's idea.

"Well we can't just let him go if we do ,he can disguise as one of us again, even if he doesn't it would instill distrust in all of us." Calmo countered.

"Why don't we just kill them. What's the downside?" Flam asked.

"We can't kill them, we still need to know why it's here in the first place,"Calmo said.

"Ok but then can't we torture information out of him then kill him?" Flam asked.

"I AM NOT GOING TO TORTURE SOMEONE FOR INFORMATION!" Calmo yelled out, surprising everyone, even the changeling who looked at Calmo in shock.

"Ok ok then you don't have to torture them . I'll torture them get the information then we can kill him. You don't have to do anything." Flam said, trying to compromise but instead angering Calmo even more. Calmo pulled out her sword and stabbed the ground then stating

"I Calmo Mortalthorn honorary knight of the kingdom of Lension shall not let the torture of an another no matter their deeds."

The entire team went quite not seeing Calmo this mad.

"Hey Clamo calm down I'm sure there is a way we can compromise so you can both be happy." Van said, trying to defuse the situation.

"NO I shall not compromise on such a horrible idea!" Calmo said with authority.

"Well then what? We can't take him and if you're not going to help the situation then well just kill him!" Flam said angrily.

"I'll take the knights option please." The changeling pleaded.

Flam sneered at the changeling's plea. "You don't get a say after what you did." Flam went to get closer to the changeling until Calmo intervened.

"Let him talk." Calmo said, putting her sword in between the two. Flam didn't say anything, he just backed off a bit to let the changeling speak.

"Thank you Calmo-"

"Do not call me that," Calmo said, interrupting the changeling. The changeling paused for a second to think of what to say next as to not anger the person who saved them. The changeling took so long to not anger Calmo that Calmo ended up being angered nonetheless.

"Speak." Calmo said, annoyed at the changeling's silence.

"Uhh well um what do you want me to talk about?" The changeling asked.

"Everything"

"Umm ok I guess I could explain as much as I can."
