Seeing Double

While Calmo and Grebito were talking, Flam followed Van to Helsitin who was practicing more spells.

"Hey Van, want to practice with me?" Helsitin asked.

Van agreed and they practiced spells together along with combining spells for more powerful effects. Flam seeing this pulled back his bow and aimed his bow to the back of Van's head before getting stopped by Grebito.

"What are you doing?" Grebito said surprising Flam to a degree where his aim sent the arrow into the ground.

"Hi Grebito, what are you doing here?" Flam said, trying to hide his bow from view.

"That doesn't answer my question." Grebito said not fooled and very disappointed at Flam.

"Well I was practicing my aim and I would hit my target if it wasn't for you." Flam said, trying to be annoyed to fool Grebito.

"Your target being the back of Van's head?" Grebito said, slightly mad.

Before Flam had a chance to argue Van and Helsitin came over hearing the commotion.

"What's going on?" Van asked.

"Flam tried to kill you." Grebito said.

"No, I was just trying to hit that flower." Flam said pointing at a random flower way in the distance.

Van looked at Flam " You know I don't think someone like you should be a part of this team."

Van looked at Flam raising his hand with fury. Flam nervously tried to block the incoming attack.

"Firebolt!" Van flew back from the attack and the team looked over to see . . . . . .

Van?

The whole team was stunned silent at the two Vans.

"You think you can trick my Friends you foul creature!" Van yelled as he sent spells at the other Van.

The first Van hid behind the tree and screamed. " What are you waiting for kill that faker!"

The team just stood back except for Flam who grabbed his bow and swung it like a club at the first Van.

Van? dodged the attack and shot a bolt into Flam's chest sending him flying and falling to the ground. Van also sent bolts into Van's? direction. Van? guarded the attack and sent flying rocks at Van . Van put up a magical shield to block them. When the dust settled Van? was gone. Van looked around but didn't see Van? charging him with a blade. Van? sent the blade straight into Van's heart. Van braced for the hit.

But nothing happened. When Van opened his eyes to see Van? chained up by Helistin.

Van saw the opportunity and said. "By the goddess of truth and justice I cast REVEALING BEAM!"

A white beam shot out of Van arm and right into the chained up being sending it flying into the tree. It hit the tree with tremendous force and fell down on the ground. The team went to the tree to solve this mystery but what laid there was a white creature with long arms and a toothy mouth.

The team was quiet before Helisin spoke up.

"It's a changeling." Helistin said.
