The bright morning light shined through my window. The birds chirped sweet melodies.

As I sat up, I felt around me to see if he was still there. He wasn't.

Crap, did I mess up? Why did he leave? As if on cue my phone ringed.

         "Hey princess."

I wanted to be mad. To be annoyed he left without a single word.

"Sorry I left. Daniel had called me in for business and you were sleeping so peacefully...I didn't want to wake you. Are you mad?"

No, no I couldn't be mad but he didn't need
to know that.

"Maybe a little. I'm never letting you in again." I kid.

"Oh no," Kit said dramatically. "I'll guess I'll have to find someway to make it up to you."

I bit my bottom lip and fiddled with the end of my night gown. "Yeah, I guess you will."

Kit chuckled. "Listen princess, I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow for horse riding?"

Oh yeah, horse riding tomorrow. I suck with horses! "Yeah sure, I'll see you then."

       "Bye princess."

      "Goodbye Kit."

Hung up the phone, leaving myself in silence. How the heck was I supposed to pull off horse riding and not make a fool of myself. Usually I ride with Candice on her horse but I can't this year considering as heir, she has to make herself look proper. Crap apples!

You know, there are many thing a person should worry about. At that moment, I wasn't worried about the bigger problem. I didn't know that just now, things were going to blow up in my face. The calm before the storm
