A/n - The timeline simply does not exist. I know it is all over the place, there are people here when they should not be here based on the events that have happened, which are all out of order as well. So just don't expect this to follow the timeline, just go with the flow and then it hopefully will not be confusing.
Basically, good luck trying to actually make sense of this :)

When the elevator doors slide open I swear it is the gates of hell opening.
Before we even stepped out I could already hear the loud chaos that was occurring at the other end of the hall. There was a quick look shared between the three of us until Tony puts his arms around our shoulders, a gesture that still causes me to heavily flinch every time, and starts to push us out of the elevator and towards my death.
When we finally get to the entrance to the living area I have to pause to take in and mentally process the scene in front of me.
A very intense game of Mario Kart is taking place on the TV with many people gathered around. Clint Barton is leaning forward in his seat on the couch clutching his controller for his dear life, Sam Wilson is perched on the top of the couch, and Bucky Barns is standing in front of the couch while death glaring at the TV screen in front of him while exaggeratingly leaning as steering his character as if that will make a difference. All the while they are all shouting insults that even I have never heard in my life, and I didn't think that was possible.
Steve Rogers is sitting off to the side while looking at Bucky with the biggest and most elated heart eyes I have ever seen. I wonder how long they have been together.
Pietro Maximoff is sitting on the couch next to Steve, seeming to be trying to talk to him but then realizing that he is far too infatuated with Bucky to be paying any attention to him. He abruptly stops talking resulting in simply shaking his head at his completely whipped friend.
Natasha Romanoff is sitting on the edge of the couch watching the chaos with a pleased smirk on her face.
Scott Lang is loudly trying to pitch his 'newest and greatest idea.' From what I hear, it has something to do with convincing Tony to buy the entire Baskin Robbins franchise simply so he can keep the seasonal Ant-Man flavor as a year-round thing.
Bruce Banner and Pepper Potts are both trying to convince him of what a terrible idea that is.
Dr. Strange is seeming to be held hostage in the kitchen by James Rhodes who is going on about how he crashed a tank through a window or something. I don't care to listen to the rest of that story, it seems quite boring.
Vision is sitting off in a dark corner cradling a toaster and looking at it like a mother would look at her newly born child for some reason. I'm not even going to question that one.
All the while Wanda Maximoff is using her red glowy magic stuff and pelting random objects across the room at Clint, trying to mess him up so Bucky and Sam actually have a chance at winning.
I blink several times, trying to allow my brain to catch up to what is happening in front of me, but it is struggling.
(A lot of this scene is actually stolen from my other book 'Blame Fate' which you should all definitely go check out *wink wink*)
Ms. Romanoff seems to be the only one that notices our presence as she looks over to us almost as soon as we enter the room. She squints her eyes slightly and gives us a questioning look then looks over to Tony.
