We went inside I gritted my teeth as Elle helped me on the the couch and sat next to me the little kids sat on the floor before Luke walked over and said pointing to the full leg brace "what's wrong with your leg?" I tried to hide my discomfort saying "it's nothing just fell" Elle said "no you didn't" before explaining how I had saved her twice putting myself in danger and nearly getting killed the last time I blushed embarrassed I didn't like all the attention on me but Mrs. Smith said "thank you for saving my baby!" I blushed even more "I... I just did what anyone would've done" Elle ma went to make cookies in the kitchen and Luke asked me "what's your super power?" I smiled saying I can make my body nearly impossible to break" then I stood up using the couch for support then balancing on my good leg I hardened my body "Whoa that's so cool when I develop my super power I want mine to be as cool as yours" Luke said smiling showing his missing front teeth I watched from the couch next to Elle as the little kids played superheroes in the middle of the livingroom Luke Elle's older brother came playing the villain and laughed picking Luke up upside down by his ankles Luke giggled as he wiggled and squirmed I looked over to Elle saying "your siblings are amazing" Elle smiled well I don't know Belle and Luke are little gremlins" I laugh Elle leans he head against my shoulder as we watched James and Belle fight Isaac Isaac fake fell and let go of Luke pretending to be dead then Mrs. Smith came out of the kitchen with a huge platter of fresh oat chocolate chip cookies Luke sat on the other side of me on the couch and Belle got up in Elle's lap then James the youngest asked "can I sit in your lap?" I smiled "of course you can" I helped James up in to my lap "I'm glad you came Kir... kiris... kirish..." James struggled trying to say my name "I glad I could come too" Belle looked at me and said "I know we can call you KiKi since Kirishima is hard to say!" I smiled at my new nickname KiKi James said proudly "I can say KiKi!" "Good job!" Later all of the little kids had fallen asleep Belle in Elle's lap, Luke with his head leaning against my arm and James curled up in my lap Elle took Belle back to Belle's room and Isaac took Luke and Mr. Smith took James Elle came back into the room Mrs. Smith said "I'm sorry we don't have a guest room so you'll share with Elle" I blush nervous but excited Elle says "my room is up stairs" Elle enhanced the strength in her arms and legs I could see the green glow running through her veins she put a steadying arm around my waist and said "lean on me with all your weight" we slowly but surely made our way up the stairs I gritted my teeth as my bad leg dragged behind me bumping every step we made it up and Elle opened the door to her room the walls were a light cheerful hellow and she had posters of famous soccer and basketball players she had her jerseys hung up on the wall from competitive road biking, soccer, basketball, softball, and roller derby and trophies and medals on every shelf and dresser Elle dug out the sleeping bag after she helping me on to her bed then left saying "I'll be right back I need to grab a pillow" I looked in awe around Elle's room she had a picture of her wearing a soccer jersey holding a soccer ball under her arm the picture said in bold print national champions the lady red wolves then on the bottom said Elle Smith MVP there were multiple more similar pictures like on that said youngest in the Honeybee Century bike race and she had a photo book on the nightstand I looked through it it had pictures of Elle's past sports teams and the more recent ones were of Elle in rollerblades at the skate park doing tricks, Elle kicking the soccer ball, I Elle scoring a point in basketball, and Elle swinging the baseball bat I set the photo book down and laid on the bed Elle came back in and got into the blue sleeping saying good night
