I'd like to address a few things before you dive into this story. This is a slow burn, which means the pacing will take its time. The beginning includes several filler chapters as the characters and dynamics are developed. JJ, in particular, needs time to process and heal before he can truly forgive her. I encourage you to stick with it, as I promise the payoff will be worth it.
I do not own any of the Outer Banks (OBX) characters or overarching plot. Those rights belong to Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, Shannon Burke, and Netflix. However, the original characters—Victoria Miller, Nick Miller, Sierra Richardson, Eric Miller, and Charlie Tozier—as well as certain plot elements, are my own creations and remain my intellectual property.
