Louis' POV~
"Lou." I hear a voice whisper. "Lou, wake up, someone's coming." They continue. I slowly peel my eyes open, letting my eyes focus in the dim light of the moon cascading through the shutters. "We gotta go, c'mon." He said, pulling me up.

"Wait." I croak, as he's pulling me out the door.

"No, Louis c'mon." He pleads, pulling me harder. "Ow. Josh let go, you're hurting me." I whimper, and he lets me go. "Sorry." He apologizes.

"It's fine. Just, keep watch for a second." I warn, and run back to the bed, grabbing the pictures.

"Hey you!" I hear someone shout.

"Fuck." I whisper.

"Let's go!" Josh shouts, I can hear the footsteps coming closer. "Shit." He curses, stepping inside the room and locking the door. "Window. Hurry."

I turn around and rush to the window, but it won't budge. "Help." I breathe out, Josh rushes to help me and we both push up on it at the same time. A little black notebook falls down, it must've been what was blocking the window frame from opening. I grab it quickly, and hear someone banging against the door.

"Open up!" They shout.

"It's way too far a drop." I warn, looking down.

"Just follow my lead." He whispers, climbing out of the window. He reaches for a gutter pipe that runs down the side of the building. He carefully moves onto the pipe and slowly half climbs and half slides down.

"You have got to be joking." I mumble under my breath, just as I hear the door being unlocked. "Well here goes nothing." I slip the notebook into my pocket along with the pictures and quickly climb out the window. Unfortunately I am not as tall as Josh, so trying to reach the pipe was not easy -But I did it. I hear the door bang against the wall above me, as a light shines through the window. The guard had clearly turned on the light.

I could feel myself shaking, truth be told I'm not as strong as people -Such as myself -Like to believe. Especially after being starved and stripped of all muscle for four months in a number of foul basements by psychotic kidnappers. I could feel my fingers slipping from the cold metal, but I knew if I tried to move I would definitely fall. Maybe if I hold on long enough the guard will give up and search somewhere else and I could just go back into the room?

I look down only to see Josh has already gotten to the bottom, great.

"C'mon, what are you waiting for?" He shouts softly. I close my eyes, take in a deep breath and slowly move one hand down, and then the other. I continue that cycle for about two minutes before my hand slips, the pipe bends and creaks and my other hand falls off and suddenly I'm in the air, falling.

I shut my eyes tightly, I'm going to die, I know it. I won't scream, I won't. I'm not scared. I'm going to see Donny again, I'll be happy. And then I'm surrounded by warm strong arms, Donny. I open my eyes, smiling.

Josh?

My smile falls.

"You caught me?" I ask breathless.
