Harry's POV~
We'd been living in New York together for about six months now. I couldn't be happier. Liam and Niall had adopted a set of twins, Jamie and Taylor. They were three, and couldn't be cuter. Both boys absolutely adored their dads, I mean, who wouldn't with dad's like those two?

Liam had taken time off his music career to stay home and take care of the boys. Niall still ran the bakery -but he made time for them too by hiring an extra employee.

I miss them both, but I know they're happy, and no matter how far apart we are we'll always be family.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Louis opening the door, "We got a big one." He said, and I smiled standing up. "Case file?" I held out my hand and he handed over the file.

"Wow. Poor gal." I mumbled, looking over the case. "I was about to head down to the precinct -did you went to join me?" Lou asked.

"Can't. I promised Zayn I'd meet him for lunch, I've already canceled on him twice this week." I bit my lip, I hated missing these things, but I trusted Louis. I knew he could handle it on his own. And of course I wanted to spend time with Zayn as well. He nodded, "Completely understand, mate. Have fun, yeah?" He took the file back and gave me a quick "bro hug" before taking off.

I grabbed my coat and keys and headed down to meet Zayn not long after. The cold wind nips against my skin, no doubt making my cheeks and nose pink. I nervously twisted the metal band on my finger and smiled. We'd decided to wait to get married -since my business had just been getting started and Zayn's success with his-left us both a bit preoccupied. Though we still made time for each other. It was my favorite part of my day, coming home to each other after a long day of work and if we hadn't eaten yet, we'd have dinner together. But if we had eaten, we partook in our cute little tradition of taking out two pints of ice cream, sitting on the kitchen floor, and just talking. It was my favorite thing to look forward to before going to bed. Our bodies intertwined. His heartbeat made me feel at home. Safe. Like we were the only two things in the world that mattered.

I came to the small Italian shop -it was located exactly halfway between our businesses. I could see Zayn through the window, wearing a white button up -his sleeves rolled up part way, showing off his beautiful tattooed skin. And a pair of black skinny jeans. I felt my heart leap. No matter how long we'd been together..I don't think I'd ever be able to get used to how beautiful he was. How handsome. He made me feel like the luckiest man on the planet.

I forced my legs to move and finally entered the shop. "Sorry I'm late, Zee."

"It's all good, luv." He stood up gracefully, a beautiful smile rose on his face. He pulled me into his arms and kissed my cheek. I almost melted into the spot. God I love him.

"I'm happy to see you, late or not." I blushed and he let me go so we could both sit down at our regular table.

"Hello my two most handsome customers," The owner, Luella, smiled at us. We smiled back and she handed us the menus. She was in her early 50s, and her grey hair was glorious and thick, she was around 5"3, but what she lacked in height she made up for in personality. Zayn absolutely adored her -she became somewhat of a mother figure for him over his years spent here. "How's business been this week?" I asked her, she sighed, "Not as well as I'd hoped, little dove." She rested her hand of Zayn's shoulder -he was closer.

"I've told you to let us help," Zayn started, but she cut him off with a shake of her head and a wave of her other hand. "You boys need to be saving all your pennies for that wondrous wedding of yours. You know you better have it before I croak! I wanna see your beautiful boy walk down the aisle." She gestured over at me and I blushed. Zayn smirked at my reaction.
