Chapter 4: Blue and Black

I woke up to the smell of some bacon and eggs, and followed the smell downstairs to the kitchen.
Light was preparing two plates of bacon and eggs and set them on the table. He wore what appeared to be a blue synthetic, one-piece tight suit with yellow armor pads on the shoulders, chest, and knees. A blue symbol with a Paw print and a 8 pointed star in the middle could be seen on his back. He's also wearing a belt with 2 hand guns in their holsters.
He then Noticed my arrival and Smiles warmly.

Light: ah, morning Myles.

Me: morning.

Light: I've got breakfast for you.

He then motions for me to sit down, and I take a seat at the table.

Me: Thank you

I started to dig in to the delicious food with Light after SAI checked my food again, even though I didn't want him to. Never thought I'd be eating with a furry though.

Light: So how did you sleep last night?

Me: Good. Despite Yesterday.

Light: it must been tough, being the last of your kind.

Me: It honestly is, but there's nothing I can do about it. I'm just going to have to try my best to adjust.

Light: that's good. so I'm assuming that you're going to look around today. To get your bearings and learn about society today.

Me: I would, if I have some sort of disguise...

Light: I figured you would, so...

Light then got up to fetch a neatly folded, sleek, synthetic black jacket with a hood, and side pockets, with a white tech circle design on the back. It looks like a futuristic hoodie. He then hands it to me, along with a device of some kind.

Light: I went out last night and got you this. It has a shading function which should hide your face. I also got you a phone and I already put my number in it, it'll also serve as a credit wallet, which I've already put 2k in for you, and a key to the house. so don't lose it.
Sadly I couldn't find you any five fingered gloves before the store closed but You can get them yourself.

SAI: no need, considering that the bracelets have a Glove form. I'll show you how later.

I turned the phone on and a Holographic smartphone home screen emits from the device.

Me: thanks.

I've set the gifts aside, and continued eating.

Light: So, I want to warn you about a few things before you check out the city. Besides The Government, who don't normally go to the city, there's two more groups you need to watch out for here. The BlueLight Faction, And Blackcore gang.

The government, I'm already aware of, but the BlueLight Faction And Blackcore gang?

Me: Care to elaborate on the last two?

Light: the BlueLight Faction is the place that I work at. we're a group of agents who maintain the law and keep the peace in the City. We also help out with any problems that any citizens have via requests and commissions.

Me: (sounds like the police that we had, and a "adventures guild" from manga, anime and video games) wait, if they find out that you're housing me, won't you get in trouble with your Leader?

Light then casually smiles.

Light: I AM the Leader of the Faction. If any of my agents find out about you, they'll report straight to me. I'll just have to explain everything to them. that is, if I'm allowed.

Me: ah, well. Okay, but only if it comes to that. Ain't gonna make it easy for them though.
