It had been days of searching. Occasionally there was a break to watch the "games" that took place on the weird planet, but nights and days mostly consisted of little sleep and searching the junkyard or for pilots that could travel off planet and were willing to work for the little funds you had on you. Let's just say, you learned the hard way that the planet didn't accept Asgardian gold as currency, it was something much more aimed to Loki's liking and certain skills, if you could call it that.m

"Do you think that Thor is dead?" You asked one evening while laying in the bed, Loki sitting on the edge looking out the window at the landscape of Sakaar.

"I highly doubt that, the oaf can survive anything," Loki chuckled as fonder memories of Thor flashed through the gods mind.

A small smile appeared on your face before you heard a loud crash in the distance, looking out to the junkyard it looked like another large amount of garbage had crashed onto the planet.

False alarm.

"Hey Lokes?" You asked the mischievous man knowing he'd likely love this plan of yours, that had just formulated in your mind. "What if we go through the garbage holes?"

"I'll have to ask if it's ever been done, I'm not keen on the risk if it hasn't," he sighed staring at the biggest hole, "Do you really want to try that badly?"

"Truth be told, I can't stand this place," both of you chuckled, the countless parties and events really were something that dragged down a person, especially if they were more introverted like you, always preferring to stay out of the public eye on Asgard.

You wondered if anyone bothered piloting off-world, too many this seemed like the most ideal place to be, crime was practically legal with the little law enforcement had around the planet, entertainment was provided almost every day with the fights, and there were plenty of ways to earn money if your heart was set on it, like gambling on fighters or getting them from the wormholes or catching them with bounties.

"I met this woman at the bar," Loki told you out of the blue, confusion running rampant as you wondered why he was telling you this, "An ex-Valkyrie."

You were blunt in your response, "That's not possible."

"If Hela can survive then so can they. There might even be more besides the one I met."

"They must have scattered then, there weren't any remaining in Asgard after Hela rebelled against Odin and they were sent to fight her." You could still remember the shock you felt that day, but you could only push it away like you always did, because that was how you survived. "It hurt her to hurt them, she didn't want them dead, I could feel her pain. She was the goddess of death though and always has been, death seemed to be unstoppable that day."

Loki nodded, even though he hadn't met her for long he knew you wouldn't support someone that only wished for death with no mercy. "Odin might have banished them, not wanting them to tell the rest of the realm that Hela wanted to stop him for good reasons."

Even if the old man did accept you in the end, you truly still disliked him, forgiveness was out of the question when it came to his previous actions. "He was a tyrant, but he covered it up well."

Loki agreed, taking out his dagger that had been a gift from the Allfather, you spotted the distaste in the back of his gaze, "He was never fit for the throne."

"Don't pretend like you were good at first," you teased, remembering the younger actions of your brother before Thanos abducted him, "You practically almost killed Thor."

Loki rolled his eyes before he walked out of the room, off to gods know where. You weren't particularly worried about upsetting him, though, because he had always had a hot temper and would cool off in hours time.
