The sweet aroma of freshly brewed coffee entered Spencer Reid's nose as he poured the liquid into his cup.
"Hey, pretty boy." Morgan greeted him.
"Morning Morgan."
"How was your weekend?"
"It was okay; I flew to Vegas and visited my mom; she was pretty happy to see me."
Garcia came running past the two profilers, a file in her hand; she immediately ran to Hotch's office.
"That doesn't look good," Reid said, sipping his coffee.
"We have an abduction in Lima, Ohio," Garcia said as a picture of Kurt appeared on the plasma screen, it looked to be a school photo.
"This is 17-year-old Kurt Hummel; he was abducted from his home late last night. Apparently, Kurt called 911 before he was taken; according to the dispatcher, he hung up the call almost instantly after the unsubs threatened to kill his boyfriend, Blaine Anderson." A photo of Blaine appeared on the plasma screen, the same photo that Kurt had in his locker.
"How fast was the police response time?" Reid asked
"5 minutes and 16 seconds. When the police got there, Kurt was gone, but his boyfriend was tied up in the kitchen unconscious, and they immediately took him to the hospital." The plasma screen revealed another picture, this one of Blaine; he was tied to the leg of the kitchen table, his shirt was torn open, and he had bruises all over his ribs and a strip of duct tape around his mouth.
"Has the boyfriend said anything?" Prentiss asked
"The police tried questioning him, but he wouldn't say anything."
"Teen and child abduction victims don't normally survive the first 24 hours. Depending on why they were taken." Rossi said, looking through the file
"Most abductions of people Kurt's age are 50% chance fatal; the other 50% are rapists or trafficking," Reid said
"Well, we have 24 hours to prevent that, maybe less. Wheels up in 30," Hotch said; everyone stood up out of their seats.
Kurt sat in the corner, terrified; he tucked his knees into his chest, and his eyes glistened from the amount of crying he had done.
The door opened, and a tall man in a black jacket and mask came in and laid down a plate with a sandwich and a small bottle of water in front of him.
"Please, I-I promise I won't tell anyone; just let me go, please!" Kurt begged, but the man ignored him and walked away.
"I don't even know who you are; I don't even know where we are!" The boy screamed as the door shut and locked.

The BAU sat in the jet on their way to Lima discussing the case. Garcia's face appeared on the laptop.
"Okay, I did some digging on Kurt Hummel and so far no red flags. His mother died when he was eight years old, his father had recently remarried to a woman named Carole Hudson, he has a step brother named Finn Hudson, both attend the same school and are in the school's glee club, other than that, I got zip"
"Nothing stands out?" Rossi asked
"No, his social media page is pretty normal, pictures with his friends and boyfriend, and showing off his very stylish clothing, but nothing else. I'm digging but I can't find anything."
"Keep looking, we need to know why Kurt Hummel was targeted." Hotch told her.
"Yes sir. PG out"
"If Kurt is homosexual, we also have to consider the fact that this could be a hate crime." Reid said,
"We'll be landing in Lima soon, Prentiss, JJ, head to the abduction site, Reid, Morgan, you two will go to the hospital and talk to Blaine Anderson, Rossi and I will head to the station."
