Chapter 3

Morgan pulled into the hospital, and Reid lectured on how they could have gotten there quicker; the two profilers walked inside and up to the front desk.

"Excuse me?" Morgan got the attention of the front desk lady.

"Yes?"

"Agent Morgan and Dr. Reid, FBI. We're here to talk to Blaine Anderson."

"Room 206."

"Thank you."

The two walked to the room and walked into the room where they saw Blaine lying in the bed. His mother and father sat at each side. Morgan lightly knocked on the door, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson looked up.

"Mr. and Mrs. Anderson?"

"Yes." Mrs. Anderson said

"We're with the FBI and we're wondering if we could talk to your son, about Kurt Hummel's disappearance.

"Blaine had nothing to do with that." His father said.

"We know that sir, but he was there when Kurt was taken. He might be able to help us." Reid said reassuringly.

"I don't know; Blaine hasn't said a word since it happened. All he's been doing is looking at pictures on his phone. It's actually starting to scare us." Mrs. Anderson said.

"It's normal when someone you love is abducted. You turn to a photo or anything you have of that person," Morgan said

"Mrs. Anderson, I'd like to try something if I may," Reid asked

"If it will get him talking again, then yes."

"Wait a minute, Pamela, what exactly are you trying?"

"Nothing that will hurt him; I'll just start with small talk and see if I can get him to speak, and then go from there."

"We have to let them try William,"

"Alright."

Reid walked up to Blaine's bedside.

"Hi, Blaine. I'm Dr. Spencer Reid with the FBI. Do you mind if I sit here?" Blaine shrugged in response, so Reid sat down.

"How are you feeling, Blaine?" Reid asked; Blaine shrugged as he continued to look through pictures of him and Kurt on his phone.

"How long have you and Kurt been together?" Reid asked. Blaine held out two fingers.

"Two years?" Reid asked; Blaine nodded.

"Blaine, if I ask you some questions, do you think you can answer them?" Blaine shrugged.

"Do you remember what happened?"

Blaine made a writing motion on his hand.

"You need something to write on?" He reached into his satchel and pulled out a notepad and pen. Blaine wrote in the notepad.

Yes I do.

"Okay. Do you think you can tell us?"

Blaine once again wrote on the notepad; this one was a little longer. He finally gave the notepad to Reid.

I can't! He said that if I said anything he'd kill Kurt. I can't risk that, I love him too much.

He? Do you know him?" Reid asked, Blaine turned to another page and wrote another message.

I don't know I never saw his face. Even if I did, I can't say anything! Not while Kurt's life is at risk.
