Chapter 12

 Blaine and his father went inside Kurt's room, Blaine held tightly onto Kurt's hand.

Kurt's eyes fluttered open and a smile slowly grew on his face.

"B-Blaine?"

"I'm right here."

Kurt gently rested his hand on Blaine's face, Blaine smiled at the feeling of Kurt's touch.

"I thought I was never going to see you again..." Kurt said, looking deeply into Blaine's eyes, his own eyes beginning to water.

"I'm here, it's okay..." Blaine said. Suddenly Kurt's eyes widened.

"Kurt? What's wrong?" He quickly turned and felt something hard hit him in the face.

"Blaine!"

Reid had gone to get some coffee for him and Morgan but quickly returned.

"Thanks kid."

"You're welcome. Still no sign of Karofsky?"

"Nope."

Reid's phone then rang in his satchel, he quickly fumbled through his satchel and pulled out his phone.

"Hello?"

'Reid, William Anderson is the unsub"

"What?! He's in the room with Kurt and Blaine!"

"We'll be right there!"

Reid quickly hung up and turned to Morgan.

"What is it?"

"Blaine's father is the unsub." Reid said then suddenly heard a loud crashing noise.

"Let's go!" Morgan quickly opened the door and he and Reid raised their guns. William shakily aimed a gun at Kurt, who was trembling in the bed, and Blaine was lying on the ground.

"William, drop the gun!" Morgan exclaimed.

"No! I-I won't! Not until he's out of my son's life."

"Dad, w-why?" Blaine stuttered, struggling to stand.

"William, think about what you're doing. Blaine will never forgive you if you do this." Reid said.

"He'll thank me one day!"

"You're wrong William, now drop the gun." Reid demanded.

"It's wrong, it's all wrong! My son isn't like them!"

Blaine stood up and moved in front of Kurt, and the gun.

"Blaine...get out of the way!"

"No! I won't let you kill Kurt..." He said, grasping Kurt's hand, "I love him."

"You-you—no! Blaine you're not like them! You don't love him! It's wrong!" William exclaimed as he shoved Blaine onto the ground.

"Once he's gone, you'll be normal again!"

"Dad, stop please!"

"Blaine doesn't have to be normal, he's perfect the way he is!" Kurt snapped.

"It's because of you, you did this to my son!" William exclaimed, grabbing onto Kurt's gown and aiming the gun between his eyes.

"And now, you're going to pay for what you've done to him..."

"Blaine...Blaine close your eyes!" Kurt quickly said, tears streaming down his face.

"No..."

"Please I don't want you to see this!" Kurt sobbed.

"Kurt no!" Blaine cried out, suddenly a loud bang echoed through the room and William was on the ground.

Morgan looked over at Reid, who lowered his gun. Blaine shot up off the floor and quickly ran to Kurt, wrapping his arms around him tightly, trying to help Kurt calm his breathing.

Morgan ran to William and kicked the gun away, then pressed two fingers to his neck, he shook his head, and Blaine started to cry. He couldn't tell rather it was from losing his father or that his father had just tried to kill the one he loved.
