Chapter 8

The boys walked together back to the dorms quietly. They weren't really at the small talk stage yet, so neither of them knew what to talk about with the other. They just kept in their own heads. As they walked into the dorm building, the rest of Class 1-A were hanging out in the common room.

"Ah, the house arrest boys. Training again I see? I hope you are learning from one another." Iida exclaimed pointing a robot arm at them both. Bakugo let out a 'Tch' and walked over to his boys on one of the couches. Midoriya gave Iida an endearing smile as he walked over to Todoroki to make small talk. Eventually, Ashido asked Kirishima if she could pull him aside for a moment (very casually).

"Hey what's up Ashido?" Kirishima asked with curiosity.

"Oh nothing much, I was just wondering if you'd wanna go to the arcade with me on Friday after classes?" Ashido asked in her usually excited, girly tone.

"Oh hell yea! Do you wanna ask the others to come too?" Kirishima meaning the bakusquad.

"I'd like it to be just the two of us this time around if that's okay with you?" Ashido asked politely, again in her usually girly tone. She wasn't nervous at all, as she and Kirishima have known each other since middle school, so hanging out with each other wasn't out of the ordinary.

"Oh yea sure," Kirishima said curiously. He almost visibly blushed. Is this a date? He wasn't sure...

The two returned to hang out with the rest of the class in the common room when they overheard them planning a class activity to do together since it was still pretty early in the evening. They wanted to try and get something in before Bakugo went to sleep considering everyone knew he went to bed by 8pm. He wasn't a night owl like most of the class. Neither was Todoroki naturally, but sometimes he'd stick around if the activity seemed stimulating enough for him to have some (monotoned) fun. He didn't completely like missing out considering he missed out on a lot of bonding with his siblings growing up, so he wanted to make up for that by bonding with his class at least.

"So guys, what do we wanna do?" Tsu asked the class while pointing to her chin. The girls were way too into this, giggling as they came up with ideas and whispered them to each other.

"What if we played truth or dare?" Hagakure suggested mischievously.

"Come on Hagakure that's immature." Ojiro chipped in with a smirk. He didn't completely hate the idea though.

"Honestly I think it would be a great way to get closer before the year is over," Kaminari suggested.

"How the hell could we get any closer than we already are considering all the shit we've gone through," Todoroki said in his usual monotone voice, adding a tiny bit of unintentional Todoroki sass to the beginning of his statement.

"Well here's an example: Do you guys even know what my favorite show is?" Kaminari asked. As much as Kaminari said random things on the daily, he made a point. It's not like any of them knew personal facts like that about each other. "Plus the dares don't have to be THAT bad, obviously nothing that'll get us expelled. Just maybe like a 'chug a can of soda' or a 'sing karaoke' kind of dare. Those are silly enough to have fun with."

"Kaminari has a point, this is actually a good idea," Tsu added.

"You best know I'll be making sure none of your dares go too far, I will absolutely intervene if I have to," Iida yelled.

"Alright guys who's first?" Ashido asked the group.

"Let's start with me I'm anxious to get this over with," Yaomomo suggested politely.

"Alright, truth or dare?" Kaminari asked her intently.

"Let's be simple first and go truth for me," said Yaomomo.
