Chapter 10

    "Is your face warm right now?"

    "H-How did you know that?"

    "Because you're blushing. When your face gets warm that means you're blushing."

"SHUT UP REALLY? FUCK-" Bakugo yelled as Kirishima giggled a bit more.

    "Haaaa, but seriously bro I think you and Todoroki got it right. I can tell for a fact you like Midoriya." Kirishima made a fist in the air as to indicate pride. Bakugo's eyes opened as wide as they could, his jaw falling open only a bit. Kirishima couldn't see his face so the blonde's silence was a bit confusing. "Bakugo? Are you-" Kirishima stood up from the bean bag chair to look at Bakugo's face on the bed. "Bakugo... bro... you know it's okay to like guys right? Especially Midoriya..." Bakugo still stayed silent. "Look," Kirishima started as he sat next to Bakugo on his bed, putting a hand on his knee in endearment, "I know this is not anything that you could've possibly imagined, trust me. But, I think you are so lucky." Bakugo turned to Kirishima in confusion. "The person who you like is Midoriya. I know you never used to be very fond of him as a person, but he is so sweet and gentle. Midoriya is an incredibly caring person, and I think he's perfect for you."

    "What makes you say that?" Bakugo finally chimed in, anxious to hear more.

    "Well, I know about the fact that you've bullied Midoriya for years. I've overheard him and Uraraka talk about it before. But Midoriya has always called you guys childhood 'friends.' He's never left you no matter how many times you've told him to, especially the times I've witnessed. No matter how much you try to push him away, he never lets you. He also didn't hesitate to join the plan to save you from the League of Villains. Midoriya would do anything for you, anyone can see that. You are so lucky to like someone like him, he really deserves you dude." Kirishima turned to give Bakugo an endearing smile, as Bakugo turned to him with absolute shock at everything his best friend just said. Bakugo sat up and looked down into his lap.

    "But, do I... deserve him? I'm always so fucking horrible- to everyone. Why would someone you claim is 'so sweet' want someone like me?" Bakugo asked the red-haired boy in disappointment.

    "Honestly dude, when someone knows you for real, you are also an incredibly caring person. Midoriya knows how incredible you are, I mean everyone heard what he said to you during our first training matches as heroes vs villains. He looks up to you, man! And with the way things between you and Midoriya are going, I know for a fact you'd take a bullet for him. Why wouldn't you deserve him?" Bakugo looked up at Kirishima with soft watery eyes, his cheeks crimson red. Bakugo gritted his teeth to prevent more tears from falling, but eventually he put his forehead on his best friend's shoulder.

    "Kirishima, you've never said anything like that to me." Bakugo sniffled. Kirishima just smiled before he moved on to the big part.

    "You know, the worst thing that could happen is that Midoriya doesn't accept you romantically. You know he'd never stop being your friend, so- maybe try- confessing?" Kirishima said hesitating.

    "NO I CAN'T-" Bakugo started as he jolted up off of his best friend's shoulder, but Kirishima was quick to grab his shirt and demand eye contact from his hysterical friend.

    "Listen bro! I know this is unconventional in your eyes, guys liking guys, but I think it's super manly! You gotta do it before it's too late! And I actually think you have a great chance with Midoriya!" Kirishima yelled, caringly, at his best friend. He let go of the blonde's shirt and let out a 'sorry' under his breath.

    "No, you're right. But there's something else I have to do first before I- confess- to him." Bakugo said as he looked down at his own hands, heart pounding.
