Chapter 14

Once classes ended, Izuku hurried out of the classroom not even waiting for his friends. Todoroki raised his eyebrow at this behavior. Katsuki had to keep up his usual act by acting nonchalant as he left class, but his mind was so busy, also hiding the smirk that he wanted to make at the visual of Izuku rushing home.

Outside of the building, Izuku picked up speed into a sprint. Todoroki was getting curiouser by the minute, and eventually picked up speed behind him. Once off of campus, Todoroki sent his ice far ahead of himself to stick Izuku's foot into a bunch of ice to stop him. As he was successful, he walked casually up to Izuku who struggled in his ice.

    "T-Todoroki? What are you doing?" Izuku asked nervously.

    "Why are you running home, you never do this-" Todoroki asked tilting his head a little.

    "I- I just- really wanna get home that's all." Izuku nervously twitched.

    "...Why? What's so great about your room? The All Might posters?" Todoroki said with a bit of sass in his monotoned voice. Izuku's mouth opened a bit in shock.

    "N-No that's not-"

    "Then what is it Midoriya? You snuck away at lunch too, what was that?" Todoroki had basically caught the green-haired boy. He knew he was screwed.

    "If I tell you, will you melt the ice?" Izuku asked softly.

    "Sure, I just need you to talk to me. You haven't said much since the night you told me you were in love with Bakugo, did something happen?" Izuku's eyes widened at Todoroki's words.

    "You have to promise not to tell anyone else, it's a huge secret!" Izuku asked with his head down. Todoroki melted the ice and walked closer to his friend to listen.

    "I won't tell anyone, I promise."

    "K-Kacchan and I- we are- together now... We are going on our first date tonight..." Izuku said cautiously. Todoroki's eyes widened big.

    "You mean he actually confessed?" Todoroki was flustered.

    "Wait, what does that mean?"

     "Um, Bakugo actually came to me first about this. Before you did." Todoroki froze for a second, remembering his promise to Katsuki that he wouldn't tell anyone that they talked. Izuku's head cocked to the side with the biggest invisible question mark above his head.

    "HUH? KACCHAN- TALKED TO YOU- ABOUT THIS?" Izuku screamed.

    "I probably shouldn't have said anything, so don't tell him that okay?" Todoroki asked with plain but pleading eyes.

    "Oh- yea sure, no problem." Izuku said with a neutral mouth.

    "Just let me know how your date goes, okay?" Todoroki asked with a small smile.

    "Sure I'll text you!" Izuku said as he sprinted away again towards Heights Alliance.

As soon as he got to the 1-A building he busted open the doors and ran up the stairs to grab an extra change of clothes before heading to the baths. Katsuki was about 10 minutes behind him walking out of the main UA building with his squad.

    "Hey Bakugo, we are gonna go to the mall later today, wanna come?" Kirishima asked his best friend.

    "Pass, I'm busy later." Katsuki growled out.

    "What could you possibly be doing on a Friday night that's any better than the mall with us?" Kaminari asked.

    "LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE YOU IDIOT." Katsuki yelled at the yellow-haired boy, making him spring back into Kirishima.
