Chapter 16

As the next few weeks went on, the happy couple did very simple couple things and took it slow. They kept up their training every Tuesday and Thursday, and they studied together in secret every Saturday. They hung out and played video games or did random fun activities on Wednesday nights, and then the rest of the days were their own free days (unless they planned a date). They couldn't see each other EVERY day, they were smarter than that. Plus as much as Katsuki would do anything for Izuku, he still needed his own alone time. Both of them did. They made up for it by texting more often than they used to. They also genuinely put kissing on a pedestal so they didn't exactly do it constantly, but they've done it here and there since their first date. They've managed to successfully keep their relationship a secret this whole time... Well, from everyone except Kirishima and Todoroki. Izuku and Katsuki both told their individual best friend's everything that ever happened between them, and they both knew that the other's best friend knew. Katsuki even talked to Todoroki about some things as they got closer, same with Kirishima and Izuku to a different extent. They weren't as close (emotionally) to each other as Katsuki and Todoroki (considering the first real talk they ever had together), but they had experiences with each other that brought them closer in other ways (working together to save Katsuki from the LOV, their first work studies fighting Overhaul, getting paired together in training one day, being assigned together to help Shinso with training, etc.)

It was now a Friday with one week until the end of Class 1-A's first year at UA. They had final exams coming up, and everyone had been training so hard to do their best, especially the wonder duo. If everyone passed, they'd all be in Class 2-A with each other next year.

The class decided to do little activities with each other in the common room after classes. They wanted to bond and really be close to each other before things got stressful with final exams. They had puzzles out, origami paper with some of Japan's Heroes as simple folding patterns (All Might, Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist, etc.), their own karaoke set up on the TV with lyrics and microphones, and then of course the class forced Katsuki to make a large heaping of fried noodles to feed everyone for dinner. He was NOT happy about this, but Izuku secretly sent him pleading eyes from across the room when they initially asked him to cook, so he couldn't resist his boyfriend's adorable gaze. Katsuki wasn't a very 'hang out with the whole class' kinda guy so he was kinda bored and angry almost the entire time, but Kirishima kept convincing him to stay instead of leaving early. Izuku was having a lot of fun doing karaoke with Uraraka, and Katsuki honestly enjoyed this sight. As much as he got jealous here and there, he knew that Izuku chose him for a reason. He never felt threatened by anyone else with his boy, not even Uraraka anymore. He was happy Izuku had so many friends to share things with that he wouldn't normally do with him, like karaoke. Katsuki hates karaoke, but he loves seeing Izuku happy so he was grateful someone like Uraraka could do it with him so he could see his boy smile. He loved his smile.

Eventually it came time for the entire class to talk deeply about their year and the experiences they've had together.

    "We've been through so much together in our first year..." Iida started.

    "The USJ attack really started it all, and it just went so downhill from there-" Kaminari added.

    "What do you think will happen when the League of Villains gets stronger and shows up again?" Hagakure asked.

"Darkness will fall over Japan..." Tokoyami added.

"Damn, a little harsh, no?" Sero asked concerned.

    "It's hard to tell, they've become such a problem in one year alone... It's scary to think what they'll do as time goes on." Izuku said, looking down in thought. Katsuki raised his eyebrow a bit as he listened to his boyfriend speak so seriously.
