Chaeyoung wasn't one to admit how much she missed her lover, especially if her lover was in a different country at the moment.
It was tough especially since she was so used to her wife being by her side, she hasn't felt lonely since their college years. It was wrong to feel like this.
Chaeyoung knew that Jisoo's work had her travel, but she didn't want to be the one hold her back. She knew what she said to Jisoo, especially a week ago.
It was Hell.
The blonde currently sat down on the couch as she curled up in a blanket, the TV was showing some cooking show that Jisoo liked to pretend she could cook. She watched with a light smile on her face before seeing the time, it was 11:30, she lost track of the time.
Chaeyoung groans like a child being told to go to bed, she stood up from the couch and turned off the TV. She had work the next day, so sleep was a must. The lights turned off in the apartment indicating that she would be off to bed, call her old, but working in a law firm required sleep.
Sadly.
Jisoo was walking down the hallway with a tired look on her face, the brunette was in her suit that was a mess. Her shirt was wrinkled and unbuttoned, her tie was lose, and her jacket hung from her arm. The tired girl held her suitcase with one hand as it hit her leg, she kept her gaze on the floor passing by others awake this late.
The people who passed by looked at her with sorrow, they could tell she didn't get any sleep or was simply overworked. Perks of being a CEO.
Jisoo stopped in front of a door before pulling out her keys, she gently opened the door noticing the darkness inside.
Lucky for her, she knew the place.
The girl placed her stuff down and kicked off her shoes, she called it a night as she made her way up the stairs.
The bedroom door opened as Jisoo walked in, she could see a familiar figure underneath the sheets. A small smile formed on her lips as she approached the bed.
Chaeyoung frowns in her sleep as she turned around feeling the bed dip, the blonde awoke seeing her wife look down at her with a smile.
"You're here?"
"I got to leave early." Jisoo answered.
Chaeyoung didn't say anything as her brain couldn't think straight, instead, she opened her arms for the brunette to hug.
The strawberry scent mixed with the vanilla one.
"Welcome home." Chaeyoung says before kissing the girls forehead.
Jisoo moved closer causing the two to become tangled with each other, Chaeyoung held her as sleep was taking over once again.
"I love you." Jisoo whispered before closing her eyes.
They would spend time together tomorrow but tonight? It was "sleepy time" as Chaeyoung called it.
