8. Secret Love confessions

Jisoo was doing a spring cleaning in their apartment, she was going through boxes and throwing things away. She reached for a box that sat on the self, she pulled it out from its spot causing a notebook to fall on her head. Jisoo hissed in pain as she rubbed her head, she looked down at the notebook that had her wife's handwriting.

Park Chaeyoung's Diary

It reads, Jisoo placed the box down and grabbed the notebook. It was wrong to snoop into her wife's private life, but Chaeyoung wasn't home. Maybe a small little peak wouldn't hurt? If Lisa was here, the girl would be reading the notebook out loud. So one little page couldn't hurt?

Jisoo flipped the notebook open and saw her wife's handwriting filled on the first page.

Dear Diary,
Jennie told me about having a diary, so I begged mom to buy me one. But anyways, I'm writing to you to because you won't believe what happened today. I was playing basketball with Jisoo since the girls were boring to be around, I mean, all they do it talk about boys :(
They started to question why I didn't care, but I guess I never had an interest in relationships or boys. So as I was playing, a group of boys walked up to me. I didn't know them. One of them that had a creepy smile asked me out as his friends were his backup?
It was awkward. It didn't make my heart pound or anything, I felt nothing. Well- except awkward.

But guess what? Next thing I know is a basketball hitting him right in the face! I guess he got embarrassed because he ran away while his friends laughed and chased after him. I turned around seeing the smile of Jisoo.

She walked over to grab the basketball and asked if we were still playing, but something happened. I think I got sick at the moment? My stomach was feeling funny? Maybe it was the sandwich mom packed?

But we played basketball! Then Jisoo asked to marry me once again. Of course, I said no.

Jisoo shakes her head remembering that day, she flipped the page seeing both filled top to bottom. It was like she couldn't put the notebook down.

Dear Diary,
Today was valentines day. I don't like valentines unlike my friends, I didn't get any candy but that's okay. My friends kept boasting about their cards and candy but I don't mind, Jisoo even got some! I know how much she loves valentines, but I got her a card and her favorite candy- she seemed to like it since she kept shouting at her friends about it.

There was a dance, but I didn't want to go. I didn't get asked but that's fine, I'd rather spend time at home. So that's what I'm doing at the moment.

DIARY! Oh My God- Jisoo came by! She was wearing this dress and even had wings on! I told you, she liked this day for some reason. She gave me a basket! I knew mom and dad heard because I could hear them from the kitchen, they aren't so quiet.
At that moment, I felt it again. I felt sick. Maybe I should get checked out? No clue. But I thanked her and I kissed her on the cheek, why? I'm not so sure myself. I'm going to tell Jennie about this, maybe she'll know. But as I write this, I could hear Jisoo outside singing at my window. I think she wants to hang out, so bye.

Dear Diary,
It's me again, I haven't wrote in a while. Sorry. But I have to make a confession, this is between me and you only. I kissed Jisoo.

I kissed Jisoo. I kissed Jisoo. OH GOD I KISSED JISOO! And I liked it. I came to realize that I liked her a few weeks ago and I kissed her today. She was dropping me off after practice and I went for it, I kissed her.
Lisa told me go big or go home and I guess she's right, because Jisoo told me SHE LIKES ME! AHHHHH-
I'm trying to act calm but I'm not Diary, but I came to tell you the good news!

We're going on a date this Saturday!

"What are you doing?"

Jisoo jumped in her spot seeing Chaeyoung standing there with her jacket, the brunette hid the notebook behind her back as the blonde looked at her confused.

"I thought you were at work!" Jisoo's voice pitched high.

"I got to leave early, what's behind your back?" Chaeyoung questions.

"Nothing!"

"Chu?"

"Divorce papers?"

"We both know that's a lie." Chaeyoung laughs, "you're obsessed with me."

"Fine." Jisoo sighs, she pulled out the notebook for the blonde to see. "I didn't mean to read it."

"Oh, I forgot about this!" Chaeyoung's eyes lit up, "I loved this thing."

"You aren't mad?"

"I mean, you had to find out soon. But this? I figured you know what it's about?"

"I didn't think you had feelings for me back then." Jisoo says, "how come you never made a move?"

"I was a pretty clueless child, everytime we were together I thought if I was sick." Chaeyoung smiles, "but now I know I'm not."

"You still feel that way?" Jisoo questions.

"Some things never change Babe, come on. I brought home food and we could read this together."

"Reading little Chaeyoung's thoughts?"

"Hey, she tried."
