Valentines was celebrated by the couple ever since their younger days, Chaeyoung wasn't a fan but you know who was?

Her wife.

But unfortunately this year, Jisoo couldn't celebrate as she would have hoped. Her work decided to torture her instead,

Jisoo arrived home with a bag in her hands, today she had to work very late. Especially on her favorite holiday, Valentine's Day. They always celebrated but this time? No dinner date, no decorations, and no trying to impress her wife.

She was devastated.

She frowns to herself as she started taking off her coat and shoes, it was a rough day. She should've been eating chocolates with her wife by this time.

"Chaeng! You wouldn't believe what happened at work."

The brunette says she walked over to the counter to place the bag down. She looked over at the living room not seeing her wife, she figured Chaeyoung was in their bedroom.

"Babe?"

She called out as she walked up the stairs, she was loosening her tie as she made her way up. She figured Chaeyoung might be sleeping or taking a nap since the blonde didn't like valentines.
Jisoo walked down the hall towards their bedroom door.

She opened the door only to be thrown rose petals at her.

"Happy Valentines Day!"

She was greeted by her wife, Chaeyoung wearing a red dress with fake wings behind her back. Jisoo's jaw dropped, flowers were everywhere, balloons floating around, and a basket the girl was holding out.

"Do you like it?" Chaeyoung asked seeing the brunette's eyes wander around the room.

"You...You did this all for me?" Jisoo asked.

"Of course, I know how much valentines means to you." Chaeyoung smiles, "It might not be important to me, but it's important to you."

"When you called, you sounded disappointed so I got help." Chaeyoung chuckled.

"Oh, Chaeng!" Jisoo pulled her into a tight hug, it made her heart race knowing her wife would put her hatred aside for her.

"Thank you!"

"Sure, you aren't going to look at your gift?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Ah!" Jisoo quickly pulled away seeing her favorite snacks inside the red plastic wrapping.

"You remembered what I liked?" Jisoo asked surprised, "Even my favorite candy- But they were discontinued!"

"I have my ways." The blonde said, cooly. She had to travel 4 hours to get the candy, she swore it better have been worth it.

"For someone who hates valentines, this is the best one so far!" Jisoo smiles, "Well, after our first one."

"The one before marriage?" Chaeyoung asked as her wife sets the basket aside.

"Yep, you could get me a rock and I would still be happy." Jisoo says, "It always means a lot to me."

"Next year I'll get you that rock then." Chaeyoung winked.

"Although I love this, I'm hungry." Jisoo says, "I'll go make us dinner!"

She was about to leave the room when her wife pulled her back towards the bed.

"Oh, my-"

"Happy Valentines day!"

A broke college student, Chaeyoung, smiled as her girlfriend looked at her. The blonde had decorated the apartment and even dressed up, candles were even lit.

"I made you something." Chaeyoung shyly smiled, she stood there with her guitar.

"You did?" Jisoo questions, "Is it a song?"

"Yeah... I wrote it when we first started dating."

"Oh? I feel honored!" Jisoo smiled.

It wasn't easy for Chaeyoung to open up about her love for the brunette that easily, sometimes she felt bad knowing Jisoo would openly tell her that she loved her. The blonde knew that if she couldn't tell her, it had to be in a song then.

That's what she did.

She openly told Jisoo that she loves her.

It lead to Jisoo crying which to the brunette, it was the best gift she got. Minus the skateboard Lisa got her for her birthday.
