Jake's POV
I couldn't believe what I just heard. They killed Crosania? They cannot be serious because we're only in high school. I tried to play it off. "Haha you guys are really funny, now quit joking" I responded seriously. Scottie smirked. "Oh darling Jake, she's really dead, we killed her". he responded.
"No, no, no" I started muttering to myself. While I was still muttering to myself, Scottie's smirk fell. Nick was the first to respond. "Scottie are you alright man?" That's when Scottie snapped. "NICK WE FORGOT TO MOVE THE BODY!!" Scottie screamed. And I was just sitting there, watching these two girls fight. Scottie replied again, this time towards me. "Jake we're going back into the woods to remove the body, we'll be back".
Before I could respond, they ran through the basement door, slamming it behind them. At least they left the first aid kit next to me. I sighed and opened the case, I suddenly felt myself turn pale, like a ghost. on the inside top lid of the kit, written in red marker was "Crosania will be back". I studied the handwriting. It was sloppy but creepy at the same time.
I've never moved so fast in my life. I quickly took the available bandages in the kit, wrapped it around my thigh, stood up, and limped towards the basement door. Fuck Scottie and Nick, they can fend for themselves. I opened the door and rushed out. Damn it Crosania, did you have to stab my leg? Well you did attempt to kill her. I ignored my conscience, and continued limping until I found the front door. Before fully exiting the house I had a thought. I can already see, there's gonna be a blood bath.
