"How's Sam, Tee?" I asked, passing the sliced fruits to her. "It's been 2 weeks since she starts ignoring me. I don't know what she's thinking."
I shook my head. Desperaton written all over my face. I want to talk to her, ask her what's wrong or what did I do wrong but she didn't let me. She just kept on pushing me away and it hurts. I miss her badly.
"She's good, I guess. She was discharge at the hospital and got home yesterday." She answered, chewing the fruits I gave to her.
Yuki came in. She sat down beside Tee.
"Try talking to her, Tee. Please." I have no other choice but to plead.
"I tried, Mon. Thousands of times. But she just ignored me and shut me off. She's really stubborn." She sighed, looking away from my stares at her.
Parang may gusto syang sabihin sakin, kanina pa. Para syang may tinatago na hindi ko pwedeng malaman. Then I noticed Yuki, sinisiko nya si Tee.
"Okay, you two, enough." I said. "Tell me, what's wrong? Meron ba akong dapat malaman?"
"Tell her, Tee. She deserves to know." Yuki said, smiling at me sadly.
Then Tee shook her head. "She's leaving the country tomorrow morning."
"What?" Napatayo ako sa upuan ko. "Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi sakin yan? Anong oras ang flight nya bukas?"
Tumingin si Tee sa wrist watch nya. "I think, aalis na sila ngayon and mag-stay sila sa hotel. I'm sorry, Mon. Sam asked me not to tell you. But I can't lie to you. Lalo na't alam ko how much you care for her." She said.
Tears started to fall from my eyes. Since my last encounter with her at the hospital, we haven't talk again and now she's leaving without telling me? Does she really hate me?
She really built a wall around herself. That no one could pass, even me and Tee, her cousin.
I'm out of words.
Hindi ko na namalayan na nasa tabi ko na si Yuki, tapping my back gently to calm me down dahil sa pag-iyak ko.
"Let's go."
Napatingin ako kay Tee. Nakatayo sya at hawak ang susi ng kotse nya.
"We still have time. If you want to see her before she leave, let's go and no words." She said dismissively.
Yuki held my hand and nods her head, saying that I need to go now and try to talk to Sam for the last time.
I nod my head in agreement. As if I have other choice. I need to see her, I want to talk to her. I know that she's in a complicated place right now but I just want to be there for her.
While on our way, I can't relax myself. I kept on looking at my phone to check if I receive a message but none, wala ata talaga syang balak na kausapin ako. Pero hindi ako papayag na aalis sya ng hindi kami nakakapag-usap dalawa. Alam ko namang aalis sya to treat her heart, pero kailangan ba talaga naming magkahiwalay ng ganito?
I heave a deep sigh.
"Relax, Mon. We got your back. Maabutan natin sa bahay si Sam." Tee said smiling.
I just smiled at her, still trying to relax myself while looking outside the window of the car.

We arrived to their house. Saktong pagbaba ko ng kotse nakita ko sa labas si Neung at ang Grandmother nila.
I looked to Tee and Yuki. They both nod at me, telling me to go in. I just nod my head.
