WILL POV-
The chestnut-haired boy steps outside taking a deep breath placing a hand on his chest. The cold air hits his lungs, the weather still warm. Will keeps his eyes open seeing a marble water-fountain. Will smiles bright, walking around the garden towards the fountain; Taking a seat closing his eyes, he listens to the hum of water sprinkle into the fountain, the chestnut-haired boy takes a deep breath
"Will?" A voice calls out. The chestnut-haired boy smiles turning his attention.
"Yeah" Will whispers patting the seat next to him, closing his eyes once again. Mike follows his lead sitting by the chestnut-haired boy.
"How come you are out here?" The ravenette questions tilting his head towards Will
"I just wanted to take a breather outside" the shorter boy answers
"Plus It smelt like alcohol" Will adds, head up with his eyes closed. The taller boy continues to watch Will. The pair remain quiet for a short while.
"Have you ever been in a relationship?" Mike asks questioning. Will flips his head around opening his eyes in shock. He blinks his eyes
"What kind of random question is that?" Will jokes
"I'm being serious" the taller boy looks at Will in the eyes
"Umm... no. Never" Will shakes his head, a small frown on his face
"Oh... because I think I've fallen in love with someone" Mike runs a hand through his raven locks
"Really?" Will giggles
"Is that why you had this party today?" Will adds raising an eyebrow
"Yeah" Mike remains silent
"Do you wan-"Mike smiles
Boom
An explosion of blue fills the sky
"The fireworks are beautiful, aren't they?" the chestnut-haired boy lips curl
Mike doesn't look up rather more entranced by the boy next to him,
"I think someone else is more beautiful" Mike grabs the chestnut-haired boy's hands; holding both in his. Will turns his attention to Mike the pair maintain eye contact, the world feels unmoving. A glow of purple illuminates Will's face.
"I was scared to ask because I thought you might think I'm weird or just a friend, but I can't really keep this to myself anymore..." the ravenette rambles
"What I want to say is that... I like you Will, I REALLY like you, more than a friend" the taller boy adds. Will remains quiet, he couldn't believe his ears. The glow on his face changes to be red
"It's not- it's not funny to joke with someone Mike" Will stutters. A shiver runs through Mike hearing Will call his name
"I'm being serious Will; I've never been more serious" the ravenette objects in a soft tone
"M-Mike?" Wills voice wavers, he covers his mouth
"I want to date you Will" Mike smiles watching the illuminated colours change
"Yeah- I mean yeah I will" Will nods, tears fill his eyes threatening to fall
"Hey, don't cry" Mike asks holding Wills hand harder
"I-I'm not crying" Will wipes his eyes
"It's just that, I just- I just never thought I'd date someone" Will adds. The taller boy comes close to Will their legs touching, Mike leans in, caressing the smaller boy's cheek. Mike leans closer and closer, Will internally panics, was this going to be the moment he had always wished for, Will closes his eyes. Mike closes the gap
...
And as an explosion of colour fills the night sky, Mike and Will share their first kiss. Will melts into the kiss, smiling against the ravenette's lips pulling away, a smile that wouldn't leave his face.

Clap
Sounds grow from a bush behind them; seven people emerge: Dustin, Lucas, Max, El, Robin, Steve and Suzie. The redhead and Lucas continue clapping both with a proud look on their face. Mike and Will, turn their attention towards the group, both blushing from the encounter.
"I win the bet" Steve holds out his palm
"You bet on us?" Mike deadpans
"Well someone needed too its like betting on horses but more fun" Steve triumphantly states
"Not if you lose" Lucas grumbles taking money out his pocket
The two boys look at each other, a soft giggle escape Will's lips, he couldn't believe he just kissed a boy, shuffling closer to Mike, the chestnut-haired boy places his head close kissing the ravenette on the cheek
"Eww, gay people" Max jokes rolling her eyes
"Max you're literally bi" The smaller boy says
"You are??!!!?" El's eyes widen
"Oh thank goodness! Ive been waiting for this" The brunette sighs out of relief, she musters up her courage
"Max will you be my girlfriend" A bright blush appears on El's face, grabbing Max's hands
"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" the redhead jumps into El's arms; Max engulfed the brunette into a deep hug kissing her on the lips
Will turns his attention towards Lucas, holding out his palm
"I cant believe I lost two bets on one day" the athletic boy states begrudgingly slipping money to Will. The group look up at the fireworks once again, Mike intertwines his fingers with Will.
"I'm so happy I met you" The taller boy whispers to the chestnut-haired boy, Will grins, placing his head on Mike's shoulder, Mike copies his boyfriend resting his head on Will as they watch the fireworks glow in the night sky.
