16- Blue and Yellow

WILL POV-

Will's group arrives first at the mall where the sun shines bright with no cloud in sight. Will looks up at the sky, protecting his eyes with his hands.

The weather scorches, Will wraps his windbreaker around his waist. The boy fans himself with his hand as the two girls by his side chat excitedly planning areas they will go too. Max watched the brunette with complete bewilderment.

Will and the girls wait for Mike's car, the sun beats down harder than ever; sweat drips down Wills forehead

Mike arrives to the parking lot; Dustin and Lucas still in the back.

Mike parks the car noticing the three standing by the entrance of Starcourt. He smiles, usually unable to go to the mall with a bunch of friends, well he hopes the rest consider him a friend.

The boys leave the car leaving Mike to lock doors walking towards Will and the girls. Max pulls the Lucas to the side, whispering in his ear. Will looks at the two raising an eyebrow, the pair avoid eye contact and go back to where they were before.

"Okay everyone is here can we go in now?" El says on the brink of pure ecstasy. A playful smile dances on her lips. She grabs Max dragging her towards the entrance; the redhead stumbles collecting herself from the sudden movement.

Will walks alone behind the two girls; seeing a figure emerge next to him he assumes to be Lucas he turns his head

"Do you mind if I walk next to you? I can't deal with them anymore" Mike chuckles running a hand through his raven locks. He smiles, prompting the chestnut-haired boy to look behind noticing the two friends arguing

"All I'm saying is that the Green power ranger is unmatched" Dustin lisps throwing his arms around. Lucas rolls his eyes

"And that's where you're wrong" Lucas spits back

"Wrong" Dustin looks offended

"Yes wrong!!!" Lucas mocks

The pair continue arguing pushing and shoving trying to talk over one another

"See what I mean? Imagine a whole car ride of this!" Mike fake pouts turning his head toward the chestnut-haired boy who returns the pout followed by a cheeky grin

"Don't worry, that's why you have a me as a friend" Will gathers all his courage to maintain eye contact with the raven-haired boy and to pat his side sympathetically. Will blushes turning his head slightly

"Does that make us friends? Like officially?" Mike questions, nervously anticipating the answer.

"Yeah, yeah of course... plus your good to use as shade" he chuckles, causing Mike to elbow his side. Both giggling causing Max to turn around to look at them, her smile reaches ear to ear. She quickly looks forward.

"So, what's your favourite power ranger?" Will mocked hiding his chuckles

"I swear I will fight you" Mike crossed his arm looking at Will with a smile

Reaching the Fountain that centred the mall El looked around, her eyes grew out of amazement looking around at the shops, admiring the bright scenery.
