Chapter 19: Solo stories

Hello everyone, 

I decided to publish a little earlier this week to celebrate finally getting Jisoo's album.

A couple of things about this chapter: 

This chapter contains mature content, reader's discretion is advised. This is the first time I write anything racy, I found it pretty difficult not gonna lie. But I tried my best. 

I changed their texting handles because I was growing tired of Chuperman and My Judy. Now, Haein is Aein(sweetheart in Korean) and Jisoo is Nae Kkot (My flower).

Seoul, March 8th, 2023

Jisoo finally returned to her apartment after an exhausting day of rehearsals. Today, she revealed the name of her solo album and the picture for the red version. Her phone was buzzing non-stop with messages from friends and family cheering her on. It seemed like everyone online couldn't stop talking about her solo debut. Incredibly, the number of pre-orders had even shattered records previously held by Blackpink as a group, Lisa, and Rosie. With over 200,000 copies sold on Ktown4u in just 1 day and 19 hours, Jisoo still found it hard to believe. She had poured her heart and soul into this album amidst a hectic world tour and sacrificed precious time with Haein to keep her promise to her Blinks.

As Jisoo settled into her couch, she took a moment to reflect on the incredible journey that had led her to this point. The endless hours of practice, overcoming language barriers, and pushing through the physical and emotional challenges had all culminated in this proud achievement: an album that was deeply personal and representative of her unique artistic voice. But with this being her first solo effort, she couldn't help but feel the pressure that came along with it while scrolling through the endless messages of praise and encouragement.

Speaking of Blinks, her number one fan should be done filming soon. It's almost as if they shared some telepathic bond because just as she thought of him, a message popped up.

Aein 💖: Hey Jagiya, how was your day?

Nae Kkot 🌹  : Long and tiring but amazing! Rehearsal went great and I finally feel back to normal. How about you? How did your day go?

Aein 💖: It was nice! Filming is going smoothly, and I only had 2 NGs today!

Nae Kkot 🌹: Awesome job, Oppa! We should do definitely celebrate.

Aein 💖: Are you making fun of me again Jisoo si?

Nae Kkot 🌹: Me? No never!!

Aein 💖: Haha, I know you too well! But seriously, we should celebrate you though. I saw the album sales. My girl is breaking records left and right! Cake and Champagne?

Nae Kkot 🌹: Sure.

Aein 💖: Jisoo Si, I have a question!

Nae Kkot 🌹: Yes...

Aein 💖: Do you have backup backup dancers?

Nae Kkot 🌹: huh ?

Aein 💖: If something happened to one of them, do they have someone to replace them?

Nae Kkot 🌹: Ah, yes they do. That's such a random question.🙄

Aein 💖: Not really, I want to break some legs. Just making sure it won't impact you too much.🤬

Nae Kkot 🌹: Oppa, are you drunk?

Haein sent her a video he had come across. It featured Will Han, one of the backup dancers often seen on Jisoo's right during their Liar performance. In the video, he effusively praised Jisoo for a whole ten minutes, gushing about her incredible talent, hard work, and stunning visuals. He even called her a Goddess and joked that if aliens ever asked who the most beautiful woman in Korea was, they needed to look no further than Jisoo. According to Will, her beauty was simply out of this world! He described her as the perfect balance within the group and even confessed he found her sexy. There was no doubt about it — Will Han certainly was a victim of the Kim Jisoo effect.
