Chapiter 28 : Jisoonie is in love (part 3)

Jisoo was so focused on their conversation that she didn't hear the door open. She must've looked like a deer in headlights, because as she got up, Haein followed, shifting her behind him as a way to shield her from the potential intruder, making her chuckle. But soon enough, familiar voices gave away their uninvited guests before they even appeared.

"Unnie, did you eat meat without us?" Lisa's voice echoed with playful indignation.

"What are you a dog?" Jennie shot back at Lisa, causing Rosie to burst into laughter.

"Unnie, we got fried chicken," Rosie chimed in.

Standing dumbfounded in Jisoo's living room entrance were Jennie, Lisa and Chaeyung. Their eyes widened and mouths hung open at the surprising sight: Jung Haein looking just as surprised as they were, hiding what could only be their Unnie. The sight of Jisoo and Haein together astounded them enough to cause a heavy silence to fill the room. 

Jisoo made a mental note to change her password later so this couldn't happen again. But for now, she had to break the ice and get rid of the uncomfortable silence that enveloped them all. Jisoo cleared her throat and stepped out from behind Haein, flashing him a comforting grin. "What are you doing here?" she asked, striving to maintain composure despite the weirdness. Jennie, Lisa, and Chaeyoung shared awkward glances before Jennie responded, "Do we need a reason to see you, Unnie? Lisa just missed you."

Lisa playfully pouted and pretended to be wounded by Jennie's words, throwing her under the bus. Jisoo rolled her eyes at their weak excuse, knowing full well they were likely up to no good. Deciding to let it go for now, she turned her attention back to Haein, who seemed mildly entertained by the situation. "You've already met Chaeyoung, Oppa; let me introduce you to the rest of Blackpink," said Jisoo. "Jennie, Lisa, meet Jung Haein."

Haein approached the girls who were standing still and greeted them with a bow. "Hi, I'm Jung Haein. It's a pleasure to finally meet you all. I'm a huge fan!" Jennie was the first to snap out of her daze, returning the bow and saying, "Hi, I'm Kim Jennie! Nice to meet you too." Chaeyung then chimed in, "Hi Haein Si, good to see you again so soon!" Haein grinned at her and responded with a "you too," but Lisa remained frozen.

"Haein Si, please excuse Lisa; she's just star struck," Jennie explained. Jisoo watched Haein giggle before he walked over to Lisa and offered his hand for a shake. This seemed to snap her out of it as she blushed and returned the handshake. "Hi Lisa Si, it's lovely to meet you." He added, "Hi, I'm Lalisa but call me Lisa! It's such an honor to meet you. I'm a massive fan – I've watched 'Something in the Rain' so many times, loved your reality show, even took some notes for when we visit New York with the girls! Although, Unnie doesn't like oysters so maybe we'll stick to burgers...And oh my god, Niagara Falls was incredible... were you scared? How did it feel?" She finally responded as words poured out of her mouth excitedly, still gripping Haein's hand.

Jisoo walked over to them and gently nudged Lisa, whispering softly, "You're scaring him..." Lisa quickly retracted her hand and stammered, "I-I'm sorry, Haein Si..." She looked genuinely distressed. "No, please don't apologize, Lisa Si. I'm truly honored," he responded with a hint of embarrassment.

Sensing the situation, Jennie chimed in, "Unnie, you seem busy. We should go..." Before Jisoo could reply, Haein interjected, "No, please stay. I was just about to leave anyway." He flashed a comforting look at Jisoo and added, "It was a pleasure meeting you all. I am now a very happy blink!" he declared.

"Oppa, you don't have to leave," Jisoo said hesitantly.

Haein gently patted her arm while flashing a warm smile. "It's okay, Jisooya," he reassured her. "I have an early schedule tomorrow anyway."
