The darkness envelops me.
But I'm not afraid.
It caresses
My aching soul.
It's emptiness
Fills in the cracks
Surrounding the broken pieces
Of my glass house heart.
Unlike the people I love,
The darkness
Doesn't
Bother
Me.
It
Doesn't
Frighten
Me.
It never has.
I've never been
Afraid of the dark.
I've always felt at home
In blackness
And
Moon beams.
It circulates through my veins,
My imperfections,
The jagged shards
Of a life I once adored.
The darkness
Is
My
Comfort.
In the moonlight,
There is no fear.
There is only
Peace.
It's radiant spotlight
Illuminates the sorrow
I hide from Sun.
It's infinite dark matter
Explores the depths
