Forced penalties, to restore life
But even in chaos, some found peace
Tranquil minds, and a world at ease
Mellow music, soothing the soul
Kaput systems, no longer whole
Sophisticated scholars, pursued truth
Robust ideas, from their pursuit
Harmonious art, a timeless treasure
Legendary tales, of warriors and pleasure
Constructing empires, brick by brick
Banishing doubt, with every flick
Frustration grew, as empires seized
Analysis helped, as problems appeased
Provoke change, to fulfill obligation
Disease halted, with medicinal application
Coffee fueled ambition, in a caffeinated eruption
Infectious diseases, causing widespread disruption
Pawns in a game, sailors sailed the seas
Veiled by ignorance, but memories never freeze
Language evolved, with vision to foresee
Overwhelmed by progress, a new society
Historical accounts, of the past and present
Eruptions of knowledge, never hesitant.
Ambition fueled the fire of innovation
As history witnessed a technological eruption
With each new invention, a new path was paved
And in the pursuit of progress, humanity was saved
From pawns to kings, the game played on
But history remembers those who shone
Those who broke free from societal chains
And left behind legacies that forever remain
As we sail towards a future unknown
We must look back and make our own
With memories of the past and eyes on tomorrow
May we continue to pave the way, with courage to follow.
