Chapter 2: Dungeon Dive

The sun is rising sparking a brand new day in the dungeon city Orario. We turn our attention however to a sleeping Danny who is on a bed sleeping loudly without a care in the world. He is currently in an Inn he checked into last night a few hours after the events of the last chapter. He twists and turns struggling signifying that he's having a terrible dream until suddenly.....

"AHHHHHHH!!!!!! NOT THE CHILLI FRIES!!!!!!!" He shouted getting up from his slumber in a fright. "Huh?!" He says to himself going silent for a while before closing his eyes and holding his head groaning. He then opened them and took a look at his mediaeval like room and sighed. "What a great first dream for the new world huh?" He said lazily and sarcastically as he got up from his bed and freshened up.

Yesterday a little while before going to bed he tested his game like display of his status and found out it had a store! Though it didn't have any skills or rare other worldly magical items like in most if not all of the Isekai he's seen. All it had were miscellaneous items and one use items, one of them being the auto body cleaner scroll which removed all impurities from his body and clothes making him fresh and clean in an instant without having to do anything.

'Not as good as an extra ability but this quite useful for daily necessities' he thought to himself with a grin on his face. The scroll was free as well meaning he could also use it in the dungeon if he planned to stay there for extended days which he did. The store also had basic weapons ranking from I to E but they cost store points (SP) which could be attained by converting valis into them. 1 valis was equivalent to 100 store points and an E rank katana costed 10000 SP so it wasn't that expensive compared to even lower ranking weapons being sold in Orario.

Today Danny was planning on delving into the dungeon with Bell. Joining the Hestia familia was pretty easy, both Hestia and Bell were excited about me joining though I can't say the same about him staying at their place.

*FLASH BACK

"You can't stay here!" The voice of a girl said. She was a beautiful and petite with a youthful appearance. She has blue eyes and mid-thigh length black hair tied into twin-tails which reach down to her mid-thighs. Her hair is tied with hair accessories that feature blue and white petals along with bell-shaped ornaments. She has a small frame (4' 7"), which further emphasizes her breasts, her attire is a white mini dress with a blue ribbon around her neck and one tied under her breasts around her arms, and a pair of white gloves. She also wore white flip flops and was currently eating fried potatoes.

"Huh? And why is that?" Danny asked in a slightly annoyed tone. He then realized something and suddenly started grinning. "Don't tell me this is your 'love nest' is it?" Danny asked having seen this kinda thing in isekai. Earlier As he was running after Bell he had arrived with him and they got in an abandoned church. That was a door in that church which lead to a room with furniture and such to which they currently are in. As they arrived Hestia was all over Bell which was natural considering what happened to him but it was a little too close so naturally he assumed they had some relationship.

"L-l-love nest?! Where'd that come from?!" Bell exclaimed blushing heavily.

"Exactly so be on your way" Hestia said turning head away from Danny and Bell eyes closed with her hands on her hips.

"H-hey Kami-sama is that really a way to talk to someone who's willing to join us?" Bell said concerned.

"Nah it's fine Bell, I wouldn't wanna disturb you and Hestia's nest" Danny said with a mocking smirk on his face. He had a million valis with him so finding a place to sleep was light work.

"Like I said it's not like that!" Bell exclaimed blushing.

"Anyway jokes aside I guess it's time for the ritual?" Danny asked. The ritual refered to was were by gods and goddesses bestowed their falna unto their children to strengthen them and let them gain excess to excelia to gain even further strength. It comes in the physical form of a status which manifests itself as a tattoo on one's back with hieroglyphics which are known as the god's tongue.
