Chapter 5: Monsterphilia

Danny was up and early in the 6th floor of the dungeon, he'd been at it for two days since the last chapter sparing no time killing the monsters with his ice powers and his mediocre swords skills. He had to especially with what Arthur said to him the previous day. 'Hehe hehehehe I don't know' those words still rang in his head, what exactly could he be planning? He planned to ask him the moment he sees him again or at least that was the initial plan.

"Your footing is off *crunch* *crunch"

" *Crunch* You're leaning in too much"

"Stop brute forcing it and flow more, that's a sword not a blunt weapon"

"Are you even listening?!........*crunch*"

The words of a familiar voice were directed at the logia hybrid. It sounded as if it came from a phone or a Skype call. It was the very man or should I say god himself Arthur sitting leisurely on a couch munching on potato chips. He was being projected from a display hologram that was a few centimeters away on Danny's side. His whole background was dark and had nothing except for the occasional monstrosities from the void that would pass by.

"You know you'll never make a black blade if you're ass at the sword. It's not just about haki ye know?" Arthur casually ate a potato chip as he mocked Danny.

"Arthur, why are you here?" Danny asked visibly fuming and about to blow. He was woken up by a very loud and annoying alarm, courtesy of Arthur and had been lectured without end by him since.

"Don't worry Danny boy, I'm not going to be always there, right now I'm testing the new features I added to your system.

"System?" Danny asked surprised as he just killed three war shadows.

"Yeah, don't expect much from it but I'm thinking of adding items, weapons and other things to it" Arthur said lazily pushing what seems to be a squid monster away from his chips.

Danny's eye began to light up. "You're serious?!" Danny looked to the display excited.

"But obviously they are going to be extraordinarily expensive, watch your back, frog shooter" Arthur said pointing behind Danny

Immediately after saying that Danny side stepped out of a frog shooter's attack and grabbed it's tongue and froze it. The ice travelled along it's tongue and froze the frog's body.

"Why am I not surprised......so what kind of items am I getting?" Danny asked as he charged towards more monsters.

"The first two things I wanna give you are mana, mind and elixir potions" Arthur said as he throw the empty chip bag and created an entire box of pizza out of thin air or whatever it is in the void.

"I understand the mana and mind potions but what's an elixir potion?" Danny asked as he slayed a goblin.

"It will instantaneously fully heal your, mind, mana, hp and it'll even regenerate lost limbs to an extent. Remember that potion from solo leveling? It'll work sorta like that" Arthur said as he pushed back another eldritch monstrosity, this time it looked more like a shrimp the size of a human with tentacles and multiple eyes.

"You're giving me that?! Wait..... what's the catch......" Danny asked expecting Arthur to say something outrageous again.

"1 billion SP for a small one!" Arthur exclaimed showing him the number one with his hand.

"Sigh* how small is small" Danny wasn't even surprised at this point. 1 billion SP?! That's 10 million valis! Where's he going to get that kind of money.

"The size of a perfume bottle and come on don't be sad, a few drops is all it takes to fully heal from almost any injuries so it's fine!" Arthur smirked.
