Chapter 10: The Supporter

"A supporter?" Bell muttered.

"Exactly, would you like me to be your supporter?" The tiny girl asked cheerfully.

It came with no surprise that our duo would eventually be asked out with such a question. Bell after all held a backpack whenever he went to the dungeon making it seem like he went there solo. He did go there solo infact, Danny usually lazed around at these times or hung out at the hostess of fertility.

Even though it'd been more than a week, Danny had already far surpassed every level 1 currently. It was save to say he was the fastest growing Adventurer in history. With this speed came problems.

If Danny leveled up right now he'd be the topic of discussion amost everyone in Orario and he wasn't all for that. Thus he had decided to spend most of his time outside the dungeon and hone his skills more.

"Erm... Well...." Bell stuttered with a hint of confusion.

"Are you perhaps confused sir? It's pretty simple actually. A poor supporter is selling her services to help you in the dungeon" she explained with a cheerful smile.

"No I mean, aren't you......from yesterday?" Bell asked.

"Yesterday? Have we met before? Lily doesn't remember meeting you two" She replied raising an eyebrow.

"Really?...." Bell murmured.

"So Misters. Would you like a supporter?" She asked eagerly.

"Um......*looks at Danny* Danny-san?" Bell called.

Danny simply looked at the two before sighing and nodding.

"Then I guess if you're fine with us" Bell said.

"Really!? Then please take Lily with you!" She said happily. Those cute, innocent round eyes found their way to Bell's sheathed black knife.

That glance didn't go unnoticed however.

"Before we continue to the dungeon, how about introductions and plan of attack first" Danny pointed at a bench near them.

*Time Skip

"Lily's name is Liliruca Arde but you can call me Lily. Lily's from the soma familia" Lily introduced herself.

"My name is Bell Cranel. Nice to meet you" Bell did the same.

"Danny" Danny replied. "So you're from the soma familia? Why aren't you with your members?"

"Well as you can see, Lily is small, frail and weak which the other members of Lily's familia think will hold them back" Lily explained.

"What? So you're being left out?" Bell asked in bewilderment.

"Yes.....Lily is so useless and is considered a burden. Lily can't even live at the familia house and has to go from cheap hotel to cheap hotel every night to sleep" She continued.

Bell looked at her with eyes of pity. He felt bad for the little girl. How could her familia do that to her?! A familia is a family! They shouldn't be so cruel to their members like this. They should be helping her through thick and thin, through slick and grease and yet........

Danny however looked at her with no remorse whatsoever. To him, this was an obvious scam though since he "technically" isn't in a party with Bell, he wanted to see how long this would play out.

"Lily doesn't have much money to afford another night at the inn so please misters! Lily's begging you! Take Lily with you to the dungeon!"

"Well.....um..." Bell failed to answer but looked to Danny for a decision.
