I stood staring blankly at the street in front of me when Jeongin came out.

"Did it work?" He asked.

"Y-yeah... it did..." I said robotically. He tilted his head and stood in front of me.

"What?"

Slowly I looked up and met eyes with him. "They told me to pay the rent."

"How much?"

"$7,000. And for your information I had $7,200 before." I looked back down, my face blank but my mind exploding. Jeongin was still. "M-maybe if I sell some things... I have a lot of useless jewelry, but that's not much. I could sell the apartment... and the stuff; that would give me enough to keep myself alive for a while... I could get a job at a..."

"Hana." Jeongin had stopped my muttering and put a hand on my shoulder. I looked up.

"Huh?"

"Stop. Live with us."

My eyes widened and I shook my hands in front of me. "What? No I can't! I'm not useful anymore now that the police is gone and I can't just invade-"

"Who cares? It's our fault you're in this position anyways." He interrupted again.

"Huh- but Chan will never let me!"

"I'll make him. Don't worry this will all be taken care of ok?"

I slowly nodded, and watched him go back inside.

"Coming?"

"Y-yeah," I answered, half in a daze, and ran to follow him.

Chan sat in front of me on the couch an hour later, while I waited expectantly. All the members sat around us, some staring, others mildly distracted, their faces unreadable.

"It's a tie," he finally said. Sighs were heard across the room. Previously we had taken a vote concerning whether I should stay, and now the result was out.

"Why should we? We barely know her." Seungmin commented.

"Because she's helped us and has no place to go," Jeongin immediately answered.

"We've never done this before," Changbin sighed uneasily.

"Where would she even stay?" Minho questioned.

"Let's keep the topic to if she should stay," Chan interrupted. There was a moment of silence until Jisung spoke up.

"Personally I think we could let her stay until she gets things together. She could sell her apartment, get a job, and earn enough to live on her own. Just until then we can be a refuge."

"Did you vote for her?" Minho suddenly asked. Jisung put on a defensive expression.

"I don't think we need to reveal that yet," he gave an awkward laugh. Minho sighed and nodded sarcastically.

"Chan hyung please..." Jeongin put on puppy eyes. If there was one thing I had learned, it was that Chan could not stand his ground at all when Jeongin acted cute. I smirked and watched him cough and look away.

"I'll keep thinking," he turned to me. "Come back after dark and I'll have made my decision. For now you can leave."

"Ah- thank you." I got up and bowed, then noticed Minho giving me a judging gaze. I stared right back until Jeongin grabbed my arm and told me he'd walk me out.

I sat sighing at the bar counter. It was after dark, but I wasn't ready to go face the decision yet. I sipped tiredly at my shot when suddenly a large slap was placed on my back. I straightened up and turned to see who dared touch my precious back.

"How's it going?"

"Kaonashi?"

She took a seat beside me and ordered a shot.

"I thought I wasn't supposed to see you again," I mumbled. She laughed.

"I was just messing with you."

I looked at her with my mouth open, then shook my head and turned back to the amazing counter. "What have you been doing?" I asked.

"Oh nothing. You seem to have something going on."

"How did you know?" I asked, then questioned why I asked in the first place.

"You seemed to have a plan when I passed you the other day."

"Ah... yeah it didn't go well for me."

"I can tell." She drank the shot, and ordered another.

"Where do you work?" I asked, the topic of jobs on my mind.

"Around," was the short answer.

"What did I expect," I muttered, then stood up. "I'll get going now; have some people to deal with."

"Mmm."

I sighed, grabbed my coat, and left. I never could bear shady people; what did they have to hide? As I walked down the dimly lit street, I wondered what her past was. A drug dealer? Seemed plausible. Maybe she was some kind of serial killer taking refuge in this city. I shook my head and sighed again.

"That danged Kaonashi-" I stopped short to find Chan standing right in front of me. "Wh-what?"

"I've decided," he answered.

"Ok... but in the middle of the street? Isn't it dangerous?"

He looked up, obviously having multiple things on his mind, and said, "Do you want to stay with us or not?"

I hesitated for a moment, but then answered, "Yeah that would be nice... until I get enough money to-"

"Alright," he interrupted. All I did was get interrupted nowadays. "I've decided you can stay for a little bit. However you can't just sit around. You'll help us with whatever we need you to help. For now go home and pack up. Sell your apartment as soon as possible; we'll be waiting for you tomorrow." With that he turned around and disappeared.

Wait. Was I seriously going to start living with them? The city's most prominent gang? What!?
