After this I safely recovered, but I noticed Felix coming to the bar more often, sometimes with Jeongin or even rarely Minho, if they didn't come with the whole group. I still couldn't figure out the deal with Minho, however.

Anyway, weeks passed like this, Stray Kids doing their gang stuff (aka sitting around eating and gaming, only sometimes going out and causing trouble). One day as I sat on the couch with Jeongin, we both received a message from Chan calling a meeting (I had been included on the group chat by then). Us already being there, we just sat there watching the members slowly file in one by one until they had all arrived. Then Chan entered with a small packet. He smacked it on the table and sat down. Silence.

"So... why are we here?" Seungmin finally asked. Chan spoke.

"I have decided we need a vacation."

Jisung shot his hands up and let out a whoop. "IT'S BEEN THREE YEARS YEAH!"

Hyunjin and Minho side eyed him and he immediately apologized and sat back down. The leader cleared his throat and continued, opening the packet.

"Anyway, I have decided on the hot springs in Japan, so I got us some plane tickets. We'll leave in a few days." He pulled out the tickets and handed one to each of us. "Also Hana, you owe me half the price of yours because I had to pay for it." I blinked at him.

"And how much...?"

"$150."

I sighed in relief; it wasn't that bad. Jeongin kicked me and gave me a creepy smile, knowing I was broke.

"I can pay for it!" I defended, and stood up to leave.

"How long are we staying?" Hyunjin asked. I stopped the process of leaving to see the answer.

"A week," was the answer. "Which means the price of the hotel rooms in total will add up to $770. Hana," he turned to me. "Add $50 to what you owe. So $200."

My eye started to twitch. "Sure..." I could sense Minho smiling in amusement and I turned to glare at him.

"You can't have pleasures here for free," Chan reminded me, and got up. "Meeting dismissed."

As the next few days passed, I could feel the excitement increasing in the household. Jeongin was more restless, Minho and Seungmin messing around with everyone more, and Chan was just watching from the sidelines smiling, watching the torture everyone was enduring. But all torture comes to an end, and soon the day arrived. The airport wasn't that far, so we took most of our time getting out. As I had lived in a small family my whole life, I never knew how long this process could take. Yes, it took us a full hour to get on the road. By then, we had barely any time to get to the plane, and got on just in time.

Being second in the line, I took a window seat and sat back, much to the members annoyment. Let's just say the window seat was a favorite among them. Felix secured a seat next to me, and Minho quickly claimed the aisle seat. 3racha was behind us, and the rest in front. I had a good spot, and I was happy. Now for the 3 hour flight to Japan.

To be honest, it wasn't that bad. Hyunjin did throw up a few times, and Changbin was continually loud, but other than that it was fine. We safely arrived at the foreign airport and managed to find the rental car, Chan acting as a translator.

"I didn't know he knew Japanese," I whispered to Seungmin, walking next to me.

"We all know some," he answered. "Chan hyung just knows the most."

"Oh." I knew no Japanese except for konichuwa and arigato. I put my head down, and decided to be extra introverted that week. After a crowded drive to the hotel where I was squished between Hyunjin and Jisung, we all got out and waited as Chan ordered the rooms. In no time he came back and we headed over.

"Hana, I booked two rooms without thinking, so you can sleep on the couch," he suddenly informed me. My eyes widened.

"Both have only two beds?"

"Yeah, sorry about that."

"It's fine..." I grumbled. I was treated like a stranger here. Anyway, Chan had already decided who went into which room, so I ended up with Chan, Felix, Jisung, and Minho. I don't think I even need to mention how sad Jeongin secretly was that he was separated from me.

After a long night of sleeping on the very comfortable couch, I was first up and got ready for the day of sightseeing, as we had decided the night before. I walked out of the bathroom and noticed Minho just waking up.

"Morning," I greeted him. No, this wasn't a 'good' morning because my back was killing me.

"Mmm," he answered coldly and got out to also get ready. I sat back on the couch and turned on my phone to see my lock screen full of texts from Jeongin.

Me: I'm awake now

Jeongin: finally. Ready for sightseeing?

Me: yeah I guess. Who else is awake?

Jeongin: Seungmin is up, and Changbin is waking up. Hyunjin is still a sleeping beauty

Me: I'm not surprised. Minho just woke up so I guess I'll wake the other three up. See you in a bit

Jeongin: 💙

I turned the phone off and got up to wake up Felix. I softly pushed him to no avail.

"I'll do it," came Minho's voice. He walked past me and began to shake Felix so hard I thought he wouldn't be alive to wake up, also shouting. This woke both Chan and Felix up in only a few seconds, and soon Jisung's head came popping up from under the covers.

"Earthquake!?" He said in a panicked voice.

"No, Minho," I sighed.

"You... can let... go..." Felix managed to spit out, still being violently abused by the devil's son.

Things happened, but finally we were all out and ready, ready to begin the vacation.

The town we were visiting was a small one, old fashioned and covered in trees and bamboo. It was beautiful. All of the tiny shops looked like classic Japanese houses and I loved it. We walked around for a bit until Jisung suggested entering a small shop for souvenirs. We all filed in and began to look around at the small trinkets. I could tell Minho was eyeing an anime cat keychain, but didn't want to admit it. After he had gone to another part of the shop, I went over, grabbed the keychain, and purchased it before he came back. I would give it to him sometime to loosen up the tense atmosphere he kept creating between us.

Jeongin and Hyunjin were the first to get bored of the shop, so they moved out to sit near a fountain. I soon followed. Chan came out after us, trying to drag his complaining children out, so we went on to see more of the beautiful town.

Nothing much happened besides the scenery and losing Seungmin for an hour, so we managed to get back to the hotel before dark. The plans for tomorrow were as follows (try not to get too confused by the complexity): sit around all day, then go to hot springs in the evening.

Honestly I had expected more things to happen, but whatever. If this is what they thought of as a vacation then so be it. So after a night of trying to convince Jisung and Minho to give me their bed, the day of waiting arrived.

What an exciting time was about to ensue.
