Goodbye Despair

        Everyone fell completely silent when Rantaro spoke. There was an odd coldness and hardness to his light green eyes as they moved from the gathered to Tsumugi. Many eyes were on Rantaro, waiting to hear what decision would fall from his lips in regards to ending this Killing Game. Gripping Niles' hand tighter, Rantaro speaks once more.

"To end this Killing Game, Tsumugi will die," Rantaro states, no warmth in his voice as he steels his emotions. The silence was not kept long after this statement as Leo spoke up, knowing that someone might try to dissuade Rantaro.

"Very well. I think that is quite the sensible conclusion to come to with what we know about this world," Leo stares.

"Yes. I agree with that. Do you want me to kill her Rantaro, so the blood is not on your hands?" Maki asks, looking to the Survivor.

"No Maki... I can't ask you to do that," Rantaro says, finally showing some sort of emotion, a softness to his eyes and voice.

"If I may then dear, let me do it. I've been dying to put an arrow between her eyes. Even if she enjoys the despair of dying, she won't be able to inflict this on anyone else," Niles says. Kaede goes to speak up but even Shuichi shakes his head to the blonde, knowing it must be done.

"Honestly, I do think it should be Niles," Nyx comments, leaning against Corrin.

"You sure Niles..? I know you do a lot of killing... But are you certain?" Rantaro asks, thinking that maybe there could be some consequences to Niles, a player, killing another player.

"Darling, with the others here, no trial can keep me here," Niles states. "Or you."

"Wait what-" Rantaro asks, blinking a bit.

"You're coming with me Rantaro... If you want. I can't stay here in this world but I don't want to leave you behind," Niles states.

"And that goes for anyone! Anyone who doesn't want to stay here, can come with!" Corrin says with a smile, knowing that friends of Niles might want to tag along and try a better life in Nohr. Before Niles could speak again, Rantaro pulls him into a tight hug, burying his face into the crook of the Outlaw's neck, hiding there as relief and some tears spill from his eyes. Niles smiles softly and wraps his arms around the green haired male, nuzzling the mess of green locks gently.

"Well obviously I'm tagging along with Daddy!" Kokichi chimes in to break up some of the tension in the area.

"What-?!" Leo sputters at the purple haired gremlin as Niles groans.

"I am never escaping that nickname...." Niles sigh dramatically.

"I'm tagging along too! I ain't being trapped in this fucking shit hole!" Miu chimes in. "Pluuuss, with my genius, I could help you fighty people be even cooler!"

"...I'll tag along too. Seems like I would fit better there," Maki states. "Niles has, admittedly, grown on me like a fungus."

"He does that," Nyx and Leo state in unison.

"Awwee~ I've wormed my way into more people's hearts~ How adorable," Niles grins.

"Anyone else wanting to come with?" Corrin asks with a smile.

"Do you have need of more maids? Otherwise, I will stay here to continue my duty as a maid to the people of Japan," Kirumi states.

"Never hurts to have extra around, especially with an army as big as Corrin's," Leo states.

"Yeah! Come join us! We'd love to have you with us!" Elise pipes up. Rantaro picks up his head and looks at the last three who had yet to make a decision on where they would go.
