The wedding was held in a lush garden, decorated with vibrant flowers and twinkling fairy lights. The scent of roses and lavenders filed the air.
Jungwon dressed in a neat, pitch black suit walked down the aisle with his best friend, Sunoo by his side. He smiled after noticing Jay standing at the altar in a sharp suit.
Once Jungwon reached Jay, he stood in front of him. The camera shutters could be heard in the distance, everyone started taking pictures of them. Jungwon felt nervous, he looked down to his hand and started fidgeting with them.
The officiant stood between them and smiled before starting the ceremony, "Now, Do you Jay Park, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?" he said looking at Jay and waiting for his answer before continuing once again.
Jay also felt nervous, this was too much like a real wedding, "Yea- I do...?" He said.
The officiant repeated the same thing to Jungwon. He also felt nervous before saying a I do.
Everyone started clapping making them both nervous. Jungwon kept looking at his own hands and couldn't find a courage to look up at the elder's eyes.
As Jungwon nervously fidgeted with his fingers, a tender touch enveloped his hand, easing his tension. The reassuring grip belonged to Jay, who had noticed Jungwon's unease and sought to comfort him.
Jungwon's trembling subsided as he met Jay's gaze and saw the elder's warm smile. It was time for the exchange of rings, and Jungwon had momentarily forgotten, consumed by his nerves. With a gentle touch, Jay began to slip the ring onto Jungwon's finger. Jungwon's heart swelled with emotion as he gazed at the ring, now adorning his finger, a tangible reminder of their marriage.
Jay waited for him to put a ring on his finger but the younger was still admiring the ring on his own finger. He smiled before reminding him, "Jungwon, its time for you now," he whispered signaling him to put his ring on.
Jungwon's hands trembled slightly as he nervously smiled and took the delicate ring from the little girl standing next to him. He felt his heart beating faster as he looked up at Jay, who was standing before him with expectant eyes. Jungwon's gaze then shifted to Jay's ring finger, and he carefully examined it before slowly touching it with his own finger. With great care, he slid the ring onto Jay's finger, feeling a sense of relief wash over him as it fit perfectly. A wide smile spread across Jungwon's face as he looked up at the elder, his eyes shining with joy and admiration.
"You may now kiss-"
As the officiant suddenly said those words, Jay glared at Chairman Park who was seated right in front of them. Chairman Park smiled and clapped eagerly to see them both kiss. Jay rolled his eyes before looking back at Jungwon, who was still staring at him with a visible blush on his face.
Jay leaned in closer to Jungwon until their faces were just inches apart. With a gentle touch, he cupped Jungwon's face with his hands, causing Jungwon's heart to race faster than before. Overwhelmed with the moment, Jungwon instinctively shut his eyes.
The quiet night erupted with cheers and shouts of excitement as guests watched the scene unfold. Jay pretended to kiss Jungwon, and the crowd assumed that they were witnessing a genuine moment of intimacy.
However, it was all just a staged act. Once Jungwon realized that their lips hadn't actually met, he opened his eyes to find Jay's lips still tantalizingly close to his own.
Jay pulled himself away from the younger, and held his hand and proceeded to walk out of the hall together.
Jungwon's heart was still pounding as he followed Jay out of the hall. He couldn't believe how real the fake kiss had felt, and he was grateful that it was just an act. Or else, he would have been fainted on the spot.
