Ross' POV

"You heard me say that? Oh, and um, hey Rydel! I told her when I panicked..." I say, trailing off.

"Yeah, of course I heard you say it! It's okay if you love me, cause I love you too! Like your a brother, of course. Even though I know only three things about you." She says as she smiles at me.

"Um, thanks, Haven." I say, kind of disappointed.

"No problem, Ross! Can I call you Rossy? I like that a lot better than Ross." She says excitedly.

"Yeah, sure. I don't mind." I say as I smile slightly.

"Hey, Rossy? Did you forget I'm still standing here?" Rydel says as she steps into the room.

"I didn't forget. We should talk in the hall. Haven, this is my sister Rydel, and we'll be back in a second." I say as I drag Rydel into the hall.

"Why did you tell her, Ross? You just met the girl again a few days ago." She says with her voice full of hatred.

"Listen, Rydel. I don't understand what your problem with her is. I understand that I haven't seen her in years, but my love for her never stopped." I say to her.

"But the thing is, Ross, is that you'll say the same about the next girl you fall for. And every single one after that. You're just going to be heart broken in the end, so why latch on to begin with?" Rydel asks me.

"Rydel, you're saying things to me about 'Not latching on' when you've liked Ellington for almost 6 years. You've got nerve to tell me not to latch on." I say to her in disgust.

"Well, Ross, I didn't immediately like Ellington, if it's any of your business. I became friends with him, and grew a bond of trust with him before I started to accept the fact that it was okay to like him." Rydel says to me.

"Which took what? Three days of knowing him?" I ask her.

"Back off, Ross. I don't like her, I've never liked her." She says to me.

"You used to love her. How come she's just a nobody now?" I ask her.

"Because now, she's a bitch, and if she hit her head hard enough, is now a totally new person." Rydel says.

"Rydel, I don't care what you think about her. No matter what, I'm still in love with her."
