Khushi's POV

Ahhhhhh. I have so much work to do. I cry internally hoping I get all this done today. I'm starving as well, I didn't have breakfast and don't have anything for lunch. Maybe I should go buy something.

I need to go home and cook dinner as well. I hate my life so much. I'm sleep deprived, hungry and my head is hurting so much. Why did I take this job? Because it pays well. I need to get up even earlier tomorrow because I have to pick up Mr. Agarwaal's dry cleaning.

I look at how much work I have left and calculate how much time it would take me to finish it.

Let's see, it's almost lunch break so I'll start after it finishes. Break ends at 1pm and would probably take me around 3 hours to finish the work, giving me 3 hours to work on the case and then I can go home by 6pm. Perfect.

With that plan in my head I head to the canteen to look for something to eat but alas there's literally nothing there.

Groaning, I go back to my desk near Mr. Agarwaal's cabin. I decided to take a small nap. I'm about to fall asleep when someone nudges my shoulder. Startled and ready to pull out my gun, I looked up to see Jai and Veer bhaiya. I relax.

"What happened? Do you guys want something?"I try to keep the tone polite but I know it doesn't sound anywhere near polite.

"Yeah, come and have lunch with us"Veer bhaiya replied

"Are you sure? I don't want to bother you guys."

"We're sure. Now shut up, and come eat lunch with us"

I go with them to Mr Agarwaal's cabin, trying to come up with a lie for why I don't have any lunch with me. Veer and Jai bhaiya barge in and Mr. Agarwaal looks up to see our gorgeous faces. "What are you guys doing here?"He said, not noticing me.

"It's lunch time, you idiot"Jai bhaiya said.

"Oh ok, give me a minute and i'll clear the table"Mr. Agarwaal said, shocking me with his reply. This man can clear up the table so he can have lunch with his brothers but not pick up his dry cleaning. Like, does he do all this just to make me suffer.

Whilst I'm having this internal conflict, Mr. Agarwaal has already cleared the table and Jai and Veer bhaiya sit down. I just stand there not knowing what to do.

Veer bhaiya notices me and tells me to sit down with them. I go there awkwardly, grab a chair and sit down, still not saying anything. All three of them are eating and I'm just sitting here doing nothing. I mean, we kind of excel at doing nothing. Shut up.

All of that food that I made looks so delicious. Jai bhaiya notices that I have nothing to eat.

"Where is your lunch?"

"I already ate"I lied.

Not liking where my thoughts were going, I got up and left but I told them that I'll be leaving the office at 6 so, if they have any work, send it over now.

I still have half an hour of break left so I quickly go out and grab something from the nearest cafe. I get a coffee, a croissant, a sandwich and a slice of cake. I save the cake so I can eat it later at night. 

I make my way back to the office, just in time to see Jai, Veer and Mr. Agarwaal making their way out. I know they are going for a meeting, so I grab a notepad and follow them because I need to take notes and then type them up and send them to Jai bhaiya and Mr. Agarwaal.

It was a very boring meeting. I'm surprised I didn't fall asleep halfway through. I am currently finishing up the work for Mr. Agarwaal. Anddd three more words then I'm done, this took longer than I wanted. Now onto the work that I was actually hired for.
