Khushi's POV
I wake up bound to chains. I blink again and again to get the dust out of my eyes. I try to get up but fall down again on my knees. Sighing, I look for a way to get out of here but I can't find one. The viper dude comes into what looks like a dungeon. He smiles at me and it's not a good one.
"You have two choices either tell us what the Agarwaal's are up to willingly or we get the information out of you by force, trust me when I say I have no desire to ruin a pretty face like yours."
"It looks like you're new. Your boss knows that I will never tell him anything. EVER. Do your worst and I still won't speak" I said with a sudden burst of confidence.
"You wanted it" The viper said with a shrug and then started punching me. He punches for a while but I stay strong, although I cannot say the same for my stomach. He realised that punches weren't going to do anything and turned to a bit more extreme methods.
I start getting flashbacks, things I don't want to remember but I make no noise. I focus on breathing and focus on food. Yes, food, think about food Khushi. Ghar jakar badiya sa khana khaungi. (I'll eat amazing food when I get home)
The viper was getting frustrated and left, probably to come up with something more torturous. I pull at the chains around my arms. It's no use. I stay like this for God knows how long. It could be minutes, hours, days I don't know until someone else comes in, she looks kind but I know better. She has an evil smirk on her face and starts to undo my chains. I tried to take a swing at her but I was too weak and lost a lot of blood. She somehow hangs me upside down and then brings out a cane. She beats me to her heart's content and I promise myself that when I get out of here, she's going to die at my hands. We didn't even do anything to her. For real. Luckily, I stole one of her knives without her noticing.
A few more hours pass, by now I have the rotation of the guards memorised. Everyone had a go at me, so I know who is the weakest. Now, I just have to wait. When the guard finally comes, I said "HEYYYYY guard, I'm ready to tell your boss everything"
The guard comes running. Bhag toh aise raha jaise koi khazana mil gaya ho. (he's running as if he found some treasure)
He doesn't unlock my door. "That's great. I'll go tell my boss" He pants out. My eyes widened and said "NO! I won't tell him anything here, you'll have to take me to him"
The guard looks at me suspiciously. I try a different tactic and try to, key word being try to flirt with him. "I think your boss didn't tell you that I love taking detours," I said, cringing internally. I even added a wink for good measure.
The guard got the gist and smirked. Thankfully he unlocked the door and came closer. I stay still, waiting for my chance.
The guard came even closer, that's when I attacked. I bang him with my head and do a crunch mid air to cut the rope around my legs. I fall to the ground and somehow manage not to injure myself more. The guard was still groaning, I took my opportunity and stabbed him with the knife I stole.
"Saale kamine, logo ko maarne me bada maza aata hain na. Ab meri baari. Main bhi dekhti hoon ki tu kitna chila saktha hain" I seeth in anger
(you bastard, you have fun beating people up. Now it's my turn. Even I will see how much you can scream)
I kicked him in the stomach a few times. He falls to the ground but I'm not done yet. I kicked him in the face until I could see nothing but blood. I liked it. Once he passed out, I grabbed his gear and mask and made my way outside this awful dungeon.
Mujhe bhook lag rahi hain aur yaha pe itni khusbu aa rahi hain I think when I finally reached some sort of exit. (I'm hungry and it smells delicious over here.)
