It's been six weeks since I started law school, so far ay nakakasabay naman ako, I always get high scores sa mga quiz, nakakasagot din ako sa mga recit, I can say that I've settled just fine and should start looking for that extra income to finally be independent, siguro ay dapat ko nadin kontakin ulit ang abogado namin tungkol sa pera na naiwan para sakin, malaking tulong iyon sa pag bukod ko.

Before mag lunch break ay pumunta ako sa admins office para mag tingin kung may mga part time positions dito sa campus, sadly wala daw available part time positions pero may scholarship silang in-offer saakin ng malaman na nag rank one ako sa LSAT, the scholarship was given under the university director's name, all I have to do is make sure that my grades do not fall below ninety percent and I won't have to worry about my tuition fees, ang problema ko nalang ay kung saan ako titira, saan ako kukuha ng pang upa, pang bili ng pagkain at ng mga kailangan ko para mabuhay, it's not that hard right?

I took the scholarship application form that they gave me and went to the cafeteria, I started planning my next agenda and again- computing the costs and my ideal budget before I moved out of the Madrigal mansion, kung tutuosin ay pwede naman akong umuwi sa dati naming bahay, kahit papaano ay mababawasan ang gastusin ko, but that place is too haunting for me.

I can't set foot in that place without seeing them, without remembering that night.

Three bloody bodies...

One by the door

One on the couch

One in the kitchen

Blood everywhere...

Blood on his favorite rocking chair where he reads newspapers

Blood on her prom dress that she was supposed to wear next week

Blood on her white granite kitchen counter

I shook my head, burying the horrific memory deep inside my subconscious, it wasn't the time to have another mental breakdown, I had to work hard and start living the second life I was given, I have to- for them.

I should really talk about this with our lawyer, If I won't be living in that house, then maybe I should sell it? I could use the money to rent a smaller place near the university! practically speaking, this was my best option. I can look for a part-time job that I can do on weekends near here, and I can just walk on the way to school to lessen my expenses - Like I said, Practical!

I was making a list of everything I was gonna need and their estimated cost when I felt someone staring at me from behind, I have gotten familiar with that feeling by now, I turned my head and saw Ellio with his group of friends entering the cafeteria, they were all laughing and ruffling each other like the pressure of law school was non existent in their world, they looked so care free and oblivious to the struggles of common people like me, kahit naman siguro ako magiging ganyan kasaya kung wala akong ibang iniintindi sa buhay kundi pumasok at mag-aral nalang.

" Hi Cutie! " bati saakin ni Hadrian ng makalapit sila sa table ko

" Dude, you were just flirting with a med student five minutes ago," pang aasar ni Damon dito

" What? masama bang mag 'Hi'? are you jealous, little D? " Pang aasar nito kay Damon

" Shut up! six months lang ang tanda mo saakin " Asar na sagot ni Damon

" Yup, and don't you forget that?"

Nakitawa lang ako sa mga to, minsan ay napapalingon kay Ellio na nasa gilid lang namin tahimik na nakatitig.
