Hiccups POV

"Ruff, Tuff, Snotlout you take out the flanking ships. Astrid draw their fire, Fishlegs takeout the catapults and nets I'll deal with the remaining ships." It was a normal mission but this time we had to find out about project shell fire.

An hour later...

"Everyone okay" we all landed it was a tough battle but we didn't find out anything about the shell fire. "Yep we are all good" "I'm gonna go spy on Viggos operations and see if we can find anything on the shell fire Astrid your in charge if you need anything just send a terror mail" I said. "Okay thanks Hiccup see you in a few days" I was about to get on my dragon when Crystal ran up and yelled "what about me" I hugged her "bye I'll be back in a few days I love you" she then hugged me tighter but then broke away. "Bye" she said.

Astrids POV

It was just going as a normal day. Thalia and Crystal scaring everyone, the twins ramming their heads into each other, Fishlegs working on the dragon eye, Snotlout flirting with me, and I'm just...doing nothing. Until I heard something in the forest.

Stoicks POV

A week earlier

I had been 3 years since those traitorous teens left and 10 years since my son did. We were all in the great Hall talking. "It matches their description" Spitelout said. "And we know where this island is so let's go" Ingerman said. We have heard of dragon saving viglantees and they fit the teens description so we are going to go find them.

A week later....

We finally found the island it was big and had a lot of different structures and dragons. (The edge) we snuck onto the island and started spying, they all had amour on so it was hard to tell who they were but from what we could make out it was 2 girls and 3 boys they were all together. The girl in blue armour looked at us she then yelled "riders someone's here" they all got into a fighting position. We burst out of the bush ready to fight.

Astrids POV

There they stood out parents and our Cheif I am so glad Hiccup isn't here. We were about to fight when a small voice yelled "grandma, grandpa" it was Thalia. "Wait Ruffnut, Fishlegs?" The Thorstons and Ingermans said Our cover was blown. "Damn Ruff you and Thalia can't you control her!" "Shut up Tuff" Ruff yelled back. We all took off our helmets. "Your alive!?" The Chief said not to happily. I saw Ruffs parents hugging Thalia then she broke away from the hug and ran to Crystal. And they started playing "Wait...did you two have another kid" they pointed to Ruff and Fishlegs. "No she doesn't even look like us" Fishlegs said. "Did one of you marry Astrid" Spitelout said "me marry Snotlout or Tuff NO" they all looked confused "that's our leaders kid" Tuff said. "Someone bossing you 5 around?" They said shocked I mean we are pretty stubborn. "I then grabbed Thalia and Crystal and talked to them. "Now remember you don't say anything about Hiccup his name is Ryder okay" they nodded and giggled. "Off you go to Ruff" they ran to her. I hope Hiccup gets this terror mail so he stays away long enough that they have left.

Hiccups POV

I was spying on the hunters and couldn't get anything until I got a terror mail from Astrid.

Dear Ryder,

Our parents and our Cheif are on the edge stay away as long as you can it's not safe Crystal is fine with Ruff but when they see you two they will try and kill you.

Well that's great. I then heard the hunter talking "well it hard work but the shell fires nearly ready, where do we attack first again" "the dragons edge" I was shocked I then saw the hunter preparing a full dragon proof boat. Well I have to go back and worn them it's not a good time to stay away.

Astrids POV

"How long will your leader be gone?" Stoick asked "could be a day maybe a week we don't know" I said he started to get angry and impatient. We walked around the edge keeping a close eye on them until I heard a familiar shreik the Berkians yelled "NIGHT FURY GET DOWN" what was he doing. They followed when the saw us going towards it. "Ryder what are you doing I thought.." " I know what you said but the hunters have completed the shell fire and are going to attack the edge first, TODAY" We were all shocked.

Stoicks POV

The little girl they called Crystal looked so familiar to me but I brushed it off. They went towards that awful creature. We followed them and saw a man. Wearing all Black amour and he had one leg. I looked at the dragon I thought of my son's Nightfury but it couldn't be. My son had 2 Legs not one and he was dead. The other Vikings looked terrified of the fact that The man was standing next to this beast. The man said something about an attack. We showed up at the time of someone else's battle not a good idea.
