The gates closed and Sophie's two friends could not let go of the uneasy feeling. So without knowing it from each other and knowing they were breaking the rules, they both turned into flying animals and flew into the forest.

Y/N POV
I know deep down that this is a stupid idea and I also know that neither of them actually deserve my help, yet here I am in the most dangerous forest I know, on my way to help these two idiots.
In the distance, I could hear Sophie screaming and even though I found it a bit pathetic, I found it very funny at the same time.
You would think that girl had learned something about this forest. We had already received lessons about the blue forest and the main point of each lesson was, be careful in the forest and don't enter it alone voluntarily!
Her scream grew louder, a sign that I was getting closer.
I had turned into a black owl to fly unnoticed through the dark sky.
In the darkness, I could see something moving on the ground. It was wearing something dark, but her hair was blonde.
Great, I found Sophie.
I flew after her, but before I could perch on the ground or on a branch, I could see something walking behind her. It didn't look like a human or at least not anything human-like.
Sophie started screaming again as that "thing" started getting closer. At some point Sophie must have tripped over something, because when I looked back at her she was lying on the ground and looking with frightened eyes at whatever it was that was chasing her.
I flew closer and could finally see what that thing was supposed to represent. It was the scarecrow from the pumpkin patch. So that thing seriously came alive in the night. It lashed out with its scythe at Sophie, who only just managed to dodge the thing.
I couldn't stand this any longer. No matter how rough we had grown apart, she was and always will be one of my best friends.
I dove down to attack that pumpkin head just as a white dove did the same. I don't know how I knew, but as soon as I saw the dove I knew immediately that it was Agie. Together with Agie as a dove and me as an owl, we attacked that pumpkin head. We scratched what was supposed to represent its head. The pumpkin fought back and out of nowhere it knocked me and Sophie away at the same time. We flew through the air, transformed back into our normal and landed a little further back on the ground. We looked at each other for a moment before we both walked over to Sophie. The scarecrow seemed to be disabled, so no reason to panic for a moment.
" Sophie, are you okay?" asked Agatha as we were helping her straighten up.
" Yes I think so, thank you. Both of you. "" Sophie?! " we heard Tedros suddenly call out in the distance.
" Quick, go to him, kiss him and then get us out of here. " I said as I dusted her off a bit and then pushed her in the direction of the sound.Me and Agatha watched as Sophie walked to her prince. I didn't want, if they were really going to kiss, to miss that for any amount of gold. I walked behind them and a few seconds later Agie walked beside me.
We watched as they found each other and almost fell into each other's arms, until a certain pumpkin head interrupted the moment. Sophie flew aside and Tedros flew a lot farther away. His shield flew out of his hand, but that didn't stop him. He still had his sword and as soon as he was on the ground, he also got back up to fight the stupid thing.
