We finish eating and then Max walk up to our table.
Max: alright all officially new dauntless follow me
We all get up and follow Max to a dormitory he then tells us to take one of everything on a table the one on the right for girls and the other one for the guys. We do as he says and then he add that we have to get changed so I start to get changed and then I see that some of the girls doesn't seem very comfortable getting changed in front of the guys.
Girl 1: we have to get changed here ?
Girl 2: can't we get changed somewhere else?
Tori(walking in): you're gonna have to learn how to get changed in front of the guys there's no where else to get changed
The girl sigh and start to get changed shyly while I finish getting changed and another girl who is already in Dauntless clothes we look at each other and hold on our laughter. Once everyone is done getting changed Max speak up again.
Max: take your old clothes and follow me
We all pick up our old clothes and follow Max to some fire place not far from the dorm.
Max: put your old clothes in the fire from now on you forget your old life faction before blood understood
Everyone: yes sir
We continue to follow him into a large open cavern and we can see that it's center of life in this faction.
Tori: alright this is the pit as you can see it's the center of all Dauntless life. More serious talk (look at Max) please do the honours Max
Max: alright so there are three stage of this initiation first is physical you will be trained separately since the born-Dauntless already know how to fight therefore the transfers are gonna be taught how to fight and use weapons then you'll be fighting one another to improve your rankings if you win you go up in the classement you lose you go down if you win against a higher ranked initiate you get more points. We will also play a game of capture the flags which is played with the born-dauntless at night and with paintballs.
Tori: second is emotional in this one everyone is together you'll be "trained" in a simulation similar to the one used for the Aptitude test just more advanced you will need to learn how to face your fears and also learn to control your emotions in the midst of your worst nightmares. It's also training for the simulation you'll face in the third stage of your initiation.
Max: the third stage is mental there's only one test you'll be put into your fear landscapes which reaches every fear within the subjected to it and creates a simulation in which you'll face each ones. This time you'll be going in reverse order of the rankings so the lowest ranked pass first you'll be observed by us Dauntless leaders we'll see everything you see you'll be timed the shortest your time the more points you get for the final rankings.
Tori: then it's initiation day anticipated by many members of the faction as well as the initiates. It occurs on the same day as your final test then one of us Dauntless leader gives a small speech and the final rankings of Dauntless-born and faction transfers are announced all initiates who succesfully complete initiation are allowed in. The higher your ranking at the end the better profession opportunities which you'll choose on the following day as your first act as Dauntless members. The type of jobs you can have are from lowest ranked to highest Fence Guard, City's security force, tattoo artist, weapon maker, entertainment fighter, initiate trainer and finally Dauntless leader. From time to time some members volunteers to do jobs that traditionally belongs to other factions like nurses but it's pretty rare.
Max: we know we just gave you a lot of information that's why I suggest you all go to bed of course I know not everyone is gonna listen to that advice. Be in the training room at 6am sharp understood ?
Us: understood
The girl with who I nearly burst out laughing comes up to me and smile at me.
???: Hey I'm Ember I'm a Dauntless-born
Me(smile): Phoenix I'm a transfer
Ember: nice to meet you Phoenix you got tattoos?
Me(chuckles): no I don't why ?
Ember(smile): wanna get one ?
Me(think about it): eh why not !
Ember(look at Four): you wanna come too ?
Four: sure why not
Ember: Great follow me !
We follow her and the place she takes us is amazing red lights and plates with some beautiful designs. I think about the tattoo I want and find exactly what I was looking for so I pick the design and show it to my brother and Ember they smile agreeing to it. I see Tori at a tattoo chair so I walk up to her handing her my design.
Tori(smile): good choice lay down it might take a while
I do as she says and she gets to work. It took about three hours to finish my tattoo it was pretty painful but totally worth it ! I get up and admire the beautiful work that Tori did with a big smile on my face.

Tori(nod): Sure
Me: how do you manage to be a leader and a tattoo artist at the same time ?
Tori(chuckles): leader by day and tattoo artist by night I take a day off of being a tattoo artist every once in a while but I love doing this I'm a leader because it's what they needed but I would have liked to be only a tattoo artist
Me: why didn't you say no to being a leader ?
Tori(sigh): that's something you can't say no too quite honestly
Me(nod): Hmm I see...well thanks for the tattoo Tori !
