We had to gather at the fear simulation room at 6am this morning and I'm finally after hours of waiting 'cause yeah it's now 9pm ! FIFTEEN FREAKING HOURS !!! At least we weren't obligated to stay there all the time but it took forever ! I'm standing behind the 9 feet tall double door waiting for he guard to open the door so I can go do my test. After another 10 minutes the guard opens the door and I confidentially walk up to the chair in the middle of the room. I get hooked up to the chair and then someone injects me with the serum.
I faced all my fears one by one follow the time 10 minutes for public speaking, 12 for my fear of depths, 15 for my fears of spiders, 13 for my fear open spaces, 5 for my fear of thunder and lastly 20 minutes for my biggest fear...my dad. I sit up panting heavily after the worst of all my memories of my dad beating the hell out of my brother in front of me and then myself. I take a shaky deep breath and take the glass of water handed to me I then leave the open room that I had tried really hard not to notice when I walked in and rapidly get out of the room going directly to bed. I don't care about the time my brother or Eric will make I just want to sleep this bad memory off. I get in bed still fully dressed and close my eyes remembering the times I had let loose here and the memories of my friends.
Four(sits on my bed): Time to get up Nix
Me(sits up): I'm absolutely not up for this speech
Ember(chuckles behind me): Cheer up you get to choose your job today !
Eric: Since all four of us are pretty high up in the rankings we're gonna get the jobs we want too so not so bad
Me(get up): Alright the choosing a job convinced me ! Let's go !
I run off redoing my ponytail while running as I can hear the others not far behind me. We get to the Pit and sits down at a free spot as Max start his speech. Honestly I didn't listen a bit to what he said but I came back to my senses when I hear to word 'ranking' I concentrate again and look at the board in which they classed the transfers and the Dauntless-borns all together probably with some cross-references or something like that. I'm freaking third !
I looked at Four and shake my head while smiling of course he's first ! Eric is second and Ember is fourth. We chose our jobs first since we're the highest ranked. Four decided to be gun initiate trainer, Eric chose fighting initiate trainer, I chose knives initiate trainer and Ember chose weapon maker. All this makes it so we'll continue to work alongside each other quite a lot me and Eric even more because we'll share the training room. We also get dibs on the biggest rooms. Once we were all done I kept my promise to myself and went to the Cave with Ember to get my second tattoo and first piercings ! After an hour and a half Tori is done with my tattoo and it took the piercing girl only ten minutes to do them !

TWO YEARS LATER
Ember(jump on my bed): Wakey wakey sleepyhead !
Me(sits up and stretch my arms out with a sigh): ugh damn choosing ceremony day and i gotta be the one along with Eric leading the Dauntless to the Choosing Ceremony
I got ready and Ember left my room. As I was putting my usual black shirt on and my black and red jacket I felt two strong familiar arms wrap around me I shake my head with a smile and turn around putting my arms around his neck.
Eric(holding my waist): Ready to go ?
Me(smile and kiss him): Yeah let's go before we're late
We walk together to the train getting in the first wagon as the others get in the others and some in this one too. As the train leads us to the Choosing Ceremony I'll tell you when this happened. Last year we started officially our jobs as initiate trainers and some transfers girls flirted with Eric at first I tried to ignore it but when they would get to my station when they would pathetically fail at throwing I'd make them go get their knives. Of course being scared of getting killed by the others throwing they wouldn't go so I'd make everyone stop and tell her to get in front of the target.
Then I'd throw knives very close to them, one a centimetre on the left, the right and above the head. Then I'd turn around roll my eyes at Eric who was trying not to laugh. When after about two times that happened they curiously stopped flirting with him. Weird right ? I became the guys favorite initiate trainer and the girls least favorite while for Eric it was the other way around. Yeah I realized he was harder with the guys that got too close to me so one night as we were in the Cave having a drink I ended up blurting out that I had feels for him and his answer was kissing me we might have also got back to his room and slept together too.
Yeah I mean he wasn't my first and I wasn't his either we had passed the times before sleeping around but it was definitely the best sex I ever had still his. Oooh yeah I see people outside which means we're nearly there ! I open the wagon door and get ready to jump on the grass. I jump down the train making a roll and using the speed of it to get back up and run inside while yelling with the others. We got inside and I sat down near the exit at the front row Eric sat down behind me and the others sat down all around us in our section.
