Becky and I went back to our dorm after days of staying in the infirmary. The doctor told her she shouldn't do vigorous activity since her body was still recovering. She didn't have wounds, but her body weakened. She looked healthy, though; I didn't know if she felt something inside her that she didn't want to tell me.
"Are you sure you don't want to eat? I can order. You haven't eaten these past days properly," I inquired, but she shook her head.
"I want to sleep, that's all." Becky lay down and covered herself in a blanket.
I noticed that she had been trying to sleep without me by her side. She didn't look for me every time she woke up. She was trying to turn herself back to normal-to the times we were not close yet.
It would help, but I was not used to it. I miss the overwhelming feeling every time she clung to my arms and smiled at me as she convinced me to sleep by her side. She couldn't sleep because I wasn't in the room yet. She waited for me until I came back because she wanted to eat with me. I missed all of it. However, it was better this way. I couldn't keep her since protecting her was my least priority.
I'm sorry, Becky. I need to find justice for my father. If I have to leave you, I will go for your sake.
I went to the rooftop for fresh air and saw Heng again smoking. I smiled because of deja vu. I walked in his direction and leaned my back on the bars. He handed me a stick, and I shook my head.
"Why?" he asked.
"Becky scolded me last time," I answered.
Heng laughed. "Wow, is she your girlfriend now? She decides for you."
"I'd rather obey her since I have to change rooms after the event. I need to stay away from her," I said.
"How about vaping? What flavor do you like?" he asked and took out his vape pod.
"No thanks. Maybe next time," I answered
Heng shook his head and looked at the sky. "I want your advice, but you're asexual, right?"
"I can still listen," I replied.
He heaved a sigh before turning to me. He chuckled when he saw my serious face. What? Is this his first time seeing me like this?
"I like someone, but she can't see me." He started.
"Is she blind?" I asked.
"Colorblind," he answered and chuckled.
"You're a walking red flag. That's why." I jeered.
Heng flicked my forehead, causing me to whimper. What the heck is wrong with him?
"I think she likes her friend. They are always together. And whenever I ask her to do something with me, like hang out. She will refuse," Heng said. "What do you think I can do to get her?"
"Then why don't you tell her that you like her? Maybe she likes you too; she's only afraid to say it because you're a president, and everyone is intimidated by you."
Heng nodded. "I'll keep that in my mind."
"Good. Now, I have to go. Becky must be waiting," I excused myself, but he stopped me by grabbing my arm.
"Can you stay for a little longer?" he asked.
I looked at his hand and removed it from my arm slowly. I sighed and shook my head.
"Becky needs me more. Once you're heartbroken, I'll stay with you until midnight." I patted his shoulder and turned my back.
"Promise?" he shouted because I was walking away.
I raised my hand and formed an okay sign.

When I entered the room, I saw Becky talking to a tall girl who looked like part of the council. I think I've seen her before. The girl was looking at Becky intently while Becky was reading a brochure. She was so mesmerized to see my girl, so I rolled my eyes and knocked, although the door was open.
"I'll excuse myself now." The girl bowed, and Becky nodded. She left, and I locked the door behind me.
"Who's she?" I asked.
"Former roommate. From 214."
"And what's that?" I asked again.
Becky smelled my shirt and neck, causing me to furrow my brows. What the hell is she doing?
"I thought you went out for a smoke," she said, then handed me the brochure. "It's the list of the competition for the IdR week. Students should choose at least one, and all of us must attend campus campout." Becky explained.
I looked at the brochure, and there were six different types of events per day:
1st: Battle of the Bands
2nd: Craft Workshop
3rd: Obstacle Race
4th: Campus Campout
5th: Scavenger Hunt
6th: Mystery ???The first three days will be held inside the campus, and the next three will be held on IdR Mountain.
Wow, they have their mountains for this specific event.
"Heng ask me to attend every day since students come when I'm there. I don't have a choice," Becky said and smiled bitterly.
"Do you want me to talk to him?" I asked.
Becky shook her head and reached for my hand. "But I want to ask the opposite. Can you not talk to him?" she asked.
"Why?"
"I'm jealous."
